Xander smiled, shaking the woman's hand, happy to meet her, his eyes scanning around her, and noticing her children. "Is there a Mr. Desdie?" Buffy frowned at Xander's forwardness and elbowed him, to which he responded with an "Ow." "Sorry..about that," Buffy said, watching Casper waddle around her.
"Well hello bud," she said, reaching down and gently rubbing the child's back.

Willow stepped forward, introducing them again so that Desdie didn't have to.
"I'm Xander," he said, reaching out his hand. "Nice to meet cha."
