Oooh oooh Accents!

May I add that Five would've been too young to pick up a Canadian accent, but he watched a lot of movies and shows there so he can probably speak perfect-accent-less English but really doesn't bother.

Also, other than Spain, Marina travelled all across Europe until she was 12-13. I like to think she also knows a few more East-European languages, but they still can't over-do the Spanish accent.

One's accent is all over the place. Girly lived in Texas, Mexico AND Malaysia. And she actively tried to socialize with people around. Specially with Wade, so I think that accent would've been more obvious, but there is also a lot of Loric (which, btw, sounds a like French).

Two has a full on British accent. And I don't mean just English. Yk how Scottish and Irish are basically unintelligible for most people. Yeah she talks like that sometimes, especially when she's ranting to herself. Overall, she talks like someone from those 1950's French-English movies.

Three knows at least 3 other languages and probably nagged his Cepan to teach him Loric since he had basically no memories of it. He probably wanted to have a clear accent but didn't quite get there. He's like, the most multi-cultural of them all

Just realized that Five probably has an accent.

He lived on an island all alone with Rey growing up, so he must’ve only learned English from Rey. Rey was old, making it unrealistic for him to learn English in the standard ‘American English’ accent, so he probably still had a ‘Loric accent’ (whatever that is). So Five had no one else to learn the language from but Rey, and probably has a Loric accent.

Also, he spent the rest of his teen years with the Mogs. They apparently have ‘harsh’ accents that Five could have picked up too.

Five’s accent is probably a mix of both.

This may be too incredibly niche but are there any fans of the Lorien Legacies or Lorien Legacies Reborn series out there? AND that want fics if I wrote them? Or even just someone to talk to about.
