Cursed post maybe but Argyle is kind of living that Bella Swan life. He’s a loner who gets scooped up by a mysterious brooding boy with a weird supernatural family, and all of a sudden he’s being hunted down by their enemies.

Argyle staying in Hawkins solely for Jonathan is something that means so much to me

Because here's the thing- no one has ever put Jonathan first. Ever. In his entire life. His mother never put him first, his father never did, not even Nancy. Jonathan has always been the one easily putting everyone else before him, because he has eldest daughter syndrome he's grown up that way

And then Argyle just seamlessly puts Jonathan first. Not even in a 'look at the sacrifices I'm making because I love you' kind of way. He just stays, and he makes Jonathan talk to him and open up. He doesn't let Jonathan just get by with saying he's okay, and he makes him smile, and he isn't afraid to say when things are hard, but not in a way that would make it Jonathan's problem. Just to be open and honest so Jonathan isn't afraid to be open and honest too.

I just think that Argyle has zero problem with loving Jonathan (in whatever form you think that takes) and for Jonathan? That is just...well he wouldn't really know what to do with it.

every argyle headcanon is so good and canon to me. he’s a closet millionaire. a garfield enthusiast. he could rub two braincells together and solve the apocalypse but he’d rather be chilling. him and jonathan have definitely kissed.

i love the trope where steve thinks robin knows he’s bi bc he’s been subtly hinting it to her (and by subtly hinting i mean extremely vague & mildly homosexual comments abt men) and robin has no fuckin clue, still thinks he’s the straightest man alive

and one day the spicy six are talking and robin offhandedly mentions steve is the token straight and everyone laughs but steve is just like “?? i’m not straight tho?” and everyone just goes silent. then robin drags him away for a Private Conversation on how joking about that isn’t funny until steve tells her he was being Serious and “i thought you knew?” and they realize they’re just both dumb

in the meantime nancy and jonathan are talking about how that actually explains a lot and they probably should’ve realized sooner while eddie is having a gay crisis in the corner and ranting to argyle

eventually robin and steve come back & steve officially comes out and bonds with jonathan and nancy abt being bi and into the elder wheeler / byers (bc let’s be honest he was into both of them) and eddie is like “oh shit i forgot to feed my cat i have to go sorry bye” and speeds tf out of there to go scream into his pillow and think gay thoughts abt steve harrington

bonus: after eddie leaves steve asks everyone if they think he has a chance with him and they’re all like “obviously”

The Spicy Six:

Steve is Bisexual. I have no solid hc’s re:gender for him, but I’m always a fan of trans headcanons

Eddie is Gay, or at least Not Attracted To Women. If you’re coming here looking for Hellcheer content, this is the WRONG blog for you, my friend. Anyway, I usually hc him as trans but I don’t care too much either way.

Nancy is Bisexual. Again, no opinion on any gender interpretations for her.

Robin is a Lesbian, obviously, but I’m a big fan of She/They Robin, so... there’s that.

Jonathan is BiroAce, and this is one headcanon I will fight for. Also he’s trans, of some flavour or other, idc.

Argyle is Pan, and uses any pronouns.

The Kids:

I don’t have much to say here, both cuz they’re very much Children, and I don’t feel super comfortable shipping kids, but also I don’t care about the gremlins the way I do about the older teens.

El is nonbinary. That’s as in depth as I’m gonna go for any of these.

Max is something, IDK, but she probably likes El.

Lucas is Bi, just cuz I like the idea of Steve being his Bi Mentor.

Dustin is Ace and at least Arospec.

Will is gay, again, obviously, which is why I DON’T ship Byler, BECAUSE-

MIKE IS A TRANS GIRL. I HAVE HAD THIS HEADCANON SINCE SEASON ONE AND BY GOD I’M NOT GONNA LET GO OF IT.

I’m not doing Erica, that kid is too young, I’m not comfortable saying shit about her. She does need some serious character development re: her blind faith in American Capitalism tho.

The Adults:

I don’t care. Hopper is a fucking cop, and Joyce is too much of a Mom-With-A-Capital-M. She’s def an Ally tho, no matter what.
