Oh, you can bet that I'll do much worse than that kid did...
Christian Reich-Wing Pennsylvania district attorney, Bill Higgins (adulterous porn addict), launched an American Taliban Jihad against a kid (faced 2 years in jail), for his shirtless Facebook pictures that showed him squatting near the face of an offensive, idolatrous, purposely inaccurate, and...

Not sure which is worse: People praying for a sick child instead of getting off their asses and helping them, or the fact that these same people ignore the notion that, by their own logic, God abandoned that child to his illness. Seriously. You won't shut up about how awesome and powerful your God is. But what can you surmise from this situation? 1. God has the power to help said child, but chooses not to. This makes God malevolent, not benevolent as you claim. 2. God does not have the power to help said child. This makes god impotent, not omnipotent as you claim. 3. There is no God. Keep on praying, people. As long as you feel better about yourself, right?

Countdown
Nothing left but waiting now. Everything is in place. And there's nothing that can be done about it anymore. What you think I am, I'm not. What I will be is more than you'll ever give me credit for.聽 It's a fixed point in time.聽

I'm not really sure what it is. Pure ignorance, a need to feel superior, plain old malice, or what. But your willful disregard for established fact and your desire to embellish is incredibly tiring. I'd thank you to just drop it and go be self-important elsewhere. Your judgement is neither warranted, nor cared for. And no: That wasn't all you needed to hear, there's still plenty for you to read...

Please note that harassment is harassment, and the list is rather short. Do take care with how you go about things. Thanks, though. It's always good hearing from you.

Sadly, this pic will be lost to a great many of Jim's/Sheldon's fans. Fritz would be proud, I think...

Twelve Til Twelve
Twelve days away. Can it go by any faster, please? For more reasons than just this, but for now, we'll focus on the obvious. Capaldi. 12th Doctor. Bring it. The decision to bring Jenna Coleman on towards the end of Smith's tenure, while having Capaldi's name floating in the wings, was a stroke of pure genius. All you Clara haters out there can suck it. She's the perfect companion for the transition. She is Capaldi's Elizabeth Sladen. As Sarah Jane was a strong female foil who was instrumental in a between-Doctors transitional period going smoothly, so too is Clara Oswin Oswald. She came in as Mat Smith's brilliant "so old, yet so young" Doctor, and at at an extremely pivotal time in the character's story. You see, this isn't just any old regeneration for the Doctor. It's the beginning of a whole new cycle, gifted to him (out of debt, of course, for saving Gallifrey in the 50th) by the Time Lords. And she has the experience of dealing with three Doctors at once - The Warrior, The Man Who Regrets, and The Man Who Forgets. With his memory somewhat muddled, the Doctor still reconciles the last big events of his first life cycle - The End of the Time War and The Battle of Trenzalore - Smith brought about a big change in the Doctor, just in time for his new cycle to begin. And Clara got to see it all. Her own Timestream was unaffected by the convergence of War, 10 and 11, and the ultimate implied on-screen convergence of not 12 but 13 known Doctors at once in orbit around Gallifrey. In a big hurry, she got several hundred years of the Doctor's existence all crammed into a series and a few specials. But that was the first cycle's darkest hours. This? This is new. And Capaldi? Moffat haters, sit down and shut up. Because the setup on this is absolute fucking genius. Think about it for a minute. Who was The Valeyard? One of the names The Doctor will come to be known by, an in-between incarnation similar to The Watcher, existing between his 12th (Capaldi) and final (unknown) incarnations. And with the decision to take Capaldi's 12 to dark territory, that fits perfectly. It's like he has two souls. The first, not necessarily innocent, but pure at heart with a tortured life. The second? We shall see. But this ain't your granddaddy's Doctor. Capaldi brings a whole new edge to it. I mean, come on: BAFTA winner, Oscar nominee AND he's a life-long Doctor Who fan. The man walked out at the live announcement and instantly tugged on his clothes in a direct nod to William Hartnell's First Doctor. Yeah, this man is GOING to do it justice. That's something that shouldn't even be questioned, and I'm pretty sure I haven't met a Whovian alive who doesn't fall into one of two camps: They absolutely ADORE this casting decision, or they simply don't know who Capaldi is and remaining cautiously optimistic based on what the former camp tells them. Things are going to get very, very good, people. We'll have a Dark Doctor with a strong Companion who got a crash course in Time Lord personalities and managed to assimilate everything rather well. One that can put up a good fight trying to keep him grounded as much as she can. Twelve days til Twelve. Don't Blink.

If you had told me 22 years ago, when I first saw "Cereal Killer," that one day I'd be booking and working with Bill Manspeaker, I'd have told you that you were insane, that a small town kid like me could never dream of working with a Grammy-nominated recording artist. Well, here we are. My magnum opus to Clearfield County, PA. My fuck you to all the haters who ever said I wasn't shit. It's my time now, motherfuckers.
