And it's a sitcom...

I was speechless for fifteen minutes straight after watching the promo. I can't believe it's going to end 🥺, I can't express my gratitude in words to this show. During the toughest time of my life, Young Sheldon came as a blessing. I'm not saying it cured my depression, but it did help to live with it. It helped me to solve numerous problems I was struggling with, for example, with the mental blocks during exams (yips), trust issues with religional beliefs, struggles with discerning reality, university projects, recognition issues etc. With Sheldon, sometimes with Mary, sometimes with Missy, sometimes with Paige, sometimes with Dr. Sturgis, I resolved those getting inspired by the show.

And now it's going to end, and George is going to...die? I felt so relieved after they retconned his cheating case, but at the same time, it made his passing more melancholic. It reminded me of the worst day of my life when I lost my own father, the person I endear the most in this entire world. Seeing Sheldon sitting like a numb stone, Missy and Mary burst into tears I felt so heartbroken. I knew it was going to happen, we all knew already the spoiler, but it still hard to take when it triggers your own trauma. And coincidentally, I was exactly Sheldon and Missy's age when my father left me. So, although it was the mother's day yesterday, I was only thinking about my father and crying over him as the wound become alive.

Anyway, thank you so much the production team of Young Sheldon for giving us some precious moments in such rough time. Thank you all the actors, scriptwriters, directors, everyone. I'm definitely gonna miss Dr. Sturgis, Sheldon, Missy, and Paige a lot 🥺.
