The USS Gwaine is Pitcher’s first command. After nearly twenty years in Starfleet, it is a huge victory for her! Always the reliable Lieutenant, it took a long time for her to be given the chance of command. Despite her knack for leadership, it also took her quite a few tries to pass the command test.

She’s an incredibly competent commander; She is highly motivated, courageous, open-minded, and passionate. She inspires loyalty and cleverness in her crew, who all like her much more than she thinks they do.

She has few connections outside of Starfleet- her family never understood her career.

Her first officer, Wynn, was assigned to her ship shortly after she was given command. He’s been in Starfleet for just shy of two decades. He enlisted after escaping the violent occupation of Bajor. When he enlisted, he was already tough and scarred, but still vulnerable from his experiences. The academy wasted no time pushing his limits, and then sent him to serve on a number of smaller ships in risky missions.

Now, on the Gwaine, he’s found a commander he really trusts and believes in. His loyalty to Pitcher came easily, and Pitcher has come to rely on him as much as he relies on her.

He’s a skilled tactician, and holds the positions of both First Officer and Chief of Tactical. He is reserved- a private man- but does his duty with a deep passion. He is bold, calculating, and is the picture of a persistence predator in combat. He inspires courage and endurance in his crew.

The two work very well together, often relying on the other for grounding when things get high-strung, or for passion when things get difficult.

During late-night briefs, Marabel has expressed her long-shot dream of settling down in a cabin somewhere woodsy and lakeside. Noran decided just then that he’d find her a cabin someday.

voyager has everything. sexual tension between every member of the crew, a strange emotional support little man they picked up off the street, a captain pushed to the brink who constantly has to betray her own morals to try and save everyone in the end, a girl who like. becomes a weird non corporeal space entity and just like. evaporates into space and that's the last we see of her?? borg. an ensign who: has invented warp 10, saved the ship single handily multiple times, has zero rizz, is somehow always working, a senior member of the crew, died at least twice, and despite all that never gets a promotion. lizard sex, dubious ethics, if HIPAA wished to be a real boy, steven universe fusion, boy AND girl failures, and coffee in that nebula.

did you guys know spock and saavik get married in the novels. now, i love the vulcan’s forge series a lot. and the author writes their relationship pretty cute. but. kinda gotta ignore their relationship in the movies to enjoy it. cause why couldnt they have just been mentor-student. why they gotta fuck.
