Das Tempo ist alles.
You play very well, and bring out the sides of Johannes that many often do not. I adore this book, as a compilation of the music of the time.
OP, If I may recommend, you could try to play with tempo rubato, in the style of Karl Phillipp Emanuel, and contrast that with tempo giusto, as Johannes himself or Anna may have played it. Simply as an exercise, but it may also uncover more facets.
I experienced an interesting phenomenon lately.
Few weeks ago I decided to practice the Menuet No3 from the Anna Magda music book, the piece identified BWV anh 116. I like its simple, light and whirlwind character.
However when I started to play it, a completely different mood revealed itself to me: something much more calm and solemn, much more like an hymn than the joyful and light music I was used to hear.
It was quite a surprise for me, but when I started playing the first notes it was like an evidence. It's the first time I exerience this: two very different interpretations of a same piece that both resonate with me.
Did this already happened to you? Or is it just me being weird?
And if you're interested in listening to my interpretations, here they are. The first is the more common interpretation, while the second is the one that revealed itself to me as I played:

How big are your hands, @chopinski-official! One must surely arpeggiate such a progression.
I also strongly disagree with the pedalling but I would suppose that's the deed of the editor.

Some of the most evil, soulless people of the 20th century used my music as fuel for nationalistic regimes. It sickens me that people would drag art down to the borders of a nation state, let alone to erase the artist as and when they please, all to wreak harm and fear.
Anyone else feel like we gave up old art stuff to fascist too easily? (Mostly in Europe actually)
Like their cultural identity is based around classical art, music and other shit like opera etc...
Meanwhile they cover-up or just ignore the fact that many masters of these arts were (by today's standard) queer!
So yeah remember that fascists of today use culture that was created by queer people of the past.

Merely ignore it and it shall go away. Like that Seagull Wagner character, too.
It is a compliment baby. Ironic how it took you a life time to figure that out though. I’m glad to have met you now instead of back then. You know you’re my favorite don’t you~? Though Liszt is also pretty nice.
- Lila 💜
Thank you! Of course, liebe Lila.
Yes, Liszt seems to have that effect on people.... His bloßer existence seems to captivate crowds. At least, Franz does. I don't think that the same can be said about this Matt Berry Franz figure....

@franzliszt-official @matt-berry-franz-liszt 👀
If i had an evil doppelganger i would simply invite it to come live with me. if i can get a wfh job so can it, i'll even let it borrow my resume. Cut our housing costs in half. Double our odds of getting chores done because we each know the other is Watching And Judging if we don't do the thing we said we were gonna do. Way easier to make the bed. Write twice as fast by trading off outlining and drafting. Sure i'd occasionally lose some sleep from holding my bedroom door shut at 3 a.m. while it tries to force its way in to murder me, but what roommate is perfect

what do you mean "it never happened"? Your childhood friend stephan von breuning stated that you went to the forest nude multiple times
Ah that Stephan.... He was so good to me.
Nevertheless can you say that you're surprised.

why were you nude on your nature walks? Was it to better connect with the earth by presenting your primitive, naked body like the other animals? Did you like the feeling of the sun's rays on your bare skin? Or perhaps the reason was simpler?
How do you know of that! That never happened!
But, hypothetically speaking, it would be an affront to bring such worldly things as clothes into the mountains. Nature is pure; to experience her as such is not to taint her.
