Hi everyone, simstrouble has apologized to me in the replies of my original post and publicly on their own blog. The absolutely lovely mods of the wcifs community @squea, @crazy-hazy-sims, and @butteredfrogs have all issued thoughtful responses which I have reblogged here. I encourage you to read theirs 🖤

I encourage the community to always be kind but also be staunch and steadfast. I am appreciative of the apology and the fact that she listed action items she will take to improve. But I will also be watchful, and we should all be rigorous in holding this community to a higher standard. There is no reason for the Sims 4 to be a toxic place to play and we can all contribute to a kinder, warmer, more compassionate place to coexist.

in a relation to the recent situation, i have an announcement:

big sims creators, you aren't goddamn celebrities, don't start thinking of yourself as such. you're also not an inch above other simmers. don't start thinking of yourself as such.

also, not exactly related, but important to remember:

nothing legally stops us from editing, sharing and using anyone's cc any way we want, idk if people actually read ea's user agreement but i do, and it literally says that once you release your stuff, you give any player a permission to do anything with it.

you see, we abide by TOUs out of politeness, because being kind to each other is fun and punk and costs $0. please remember that. we make a choice to agree to your "rules" only because we love you. please remember it.

hi! today I'm sharing with you guys a posepack with five poses of two people hugging, based on the cute hug Rue and Maddy share on the Euphoria series (I actually never watched Euphoria but the author or one of my favorite lesbian mangas made her version drawing their characters and I absolute love it). There are two versions of the pose, one normal and one with height difference. I used a male rig to make the one being hugged, so feminine rigs may look a little less taller in the height different version. Clipping will/may occur.
