She found peace in the sky, the stars, the moonlit night.

She found peace in the pages in her notebook, the lines filled with her thoughts.

She found peace in paint, maybe the colors would paint over her awfulness.

She found peace in writing on her walls, there was barely any blank space left.

None of these things would save her.

She could feel the thoughts forming in the back of her head, falling to her tongue as she looked in the mirror.

She never found peace in herself, she felt that her reflection would be the end of her.

The sky is dark tonight, there are no signs of the stars or the moon.

Her notebook was now only ashes at her feet, the thoughts now haunting her.

The paintings were torn to shreds, her awfulness now revealed.

She had torn everything from her walls down and painted them, now bare and white.

All because she wanted to find peace in HIM.

But he wouldn't let her.
