I walk untouched by deals they’ve made.

No gilded throne, nor siren’s plea

can shift the oath you hold in me.

Cities veiled in lust and pride,

I keep my truth, I do not hide.

While others chase what flickers fast,

I serve the bond that ever lasts.

Their glances pass like scattering wind,

but I am carved from vows I've pinned.

No fleeting form, nor fragrant air

could tempt me from the place you stare.

They see a man, aloof and still—

but I am bound by deeper will.

For even lost in dream or rite,

I stand beneath your watchful height.

I have bitten into books,

chewed their words like stale bread,

but the taste of knowing—

the real knowing—

has never touched my tongue.

I have traced wisdom in candle wax,

read omens in coffee stains,

searched for the voice of God

in the hush between breaths,

but silence is a trickster,

and truth never begs to be heard.

I have loved, fought, burned,

drunk from the well of longing,

only to wake in the same skin,

the same hunger gnawing my ribs,

the same questions chasing me

through sleepless nights.

If Gnosis is a fire,

then let me be dry wood.

If truth is a storm,

then let it strike me clean.

For I will not be fed

by echoes of wisdom,

nor by whispers of the past.

I want it raw, bare,

something I can sink my teeth into,

something that bleeds.

Gnosis—a knowing beyond knowledge, a truth felt in the marrow. It is not found in books alone, nor given by another’s hand. It is the fire that burns illusions, the hunger that drives the seeker, the moment when the unseen becomes undeniable.
