Basically a fun blog where I will be taking an inside look at lyrics from famous songs and question the subject matter logically.

Low - Flo Rida
So I’m not worried about anything but he chorus. We all know it, sing it out loud
“She go them Apple bottom jeans, boots with the fur. The whole club was looking at her, she hit the floor, next thing you know shorty got low low low low low low low, them baggy sweatpants and then Reebok’s with the straps, she turned around and gave that big booty a smack” and I’ll stop it there
So we have a couple of things to talk about. First off there is a HUGE reason why the whole club is looking at her. She’s completely topless....
The bigger issue is that she is wearing two pairs of pants....Jeans and Sweatpants.
The other big issue is she is either wearing two pairs of shoes or one of each shoe....Reebok’s with the straps and boots with the fur, this girl sounds like a fashion nightmare....

Smoke and Mirrors by Jayn
Let’s talk about how fucked up this song is from an outside perspective.
So outside of the typical Yandere standing, this girl is so delusional that she thinks that the boy, or girl whatever the case may be, can not love anyone but her to the point where she kidnaps this other person with intent to torture and play games with both parties. She then tries to make it seem like the subject of her love is the one being crazy with lines like “what’s with that look, do you really think I’m out of line tonight?” and “what’s with that look, so you really think I’m taking this too far?” And even “I hate to play these games but YOU’RE driving ME insane”
What also fucks me up is during the line;
“C’mon what’s your problem, quit your crying be a man, surely she can’t mean THAT much, let me give you my love!”
Is that at this point he is crying and begging her to stop whatever she’s doing and let them both go but our Yandere isn’t having it and tells him to suck it up.
But this story doesn’t end very happy either because after the music cuts out we hear several footsteps made by one person before we hear a gunshot and a bullet casing hitting the floor. That poor person is not our Yandere or “her love” but that poor person who got caught up in this because of potential feelings.
Another line that really gets me is;
“I'm sorry that I lost my cool.
As you can see here, I've been very busy.
I found her number in your phone,
Asked her to meet me here alone,
so we could talk, just one on one.”
And she acts likes this is NORMAL and acceptable. Holy fuck guys. Don’t do this shit. Don’t be a Yandere.

Nine in the Afternoon
So this whole song kinda fucks me up music video wise. But let’s skip straight to the easiest analysis you will see here.
9 in the afternoon is 100% a reall time. Most of us don’t call it “afternoon” 9pm is typically an “evening” title but 9pm is technically after-noon

Shut up and Drive
So in the lyrics. Rhianna states that she wants to go fast. Specifically asking to go “from 0-60 in 3.5”
So obviously 0-60 is an acceleration rate that is used to test a cars. She wants to do it in 3.5 seconds which sounds pretty fast. Then doing the research, the average mid-size sedan and SUVs go 0-60 in 8 seconds. Typical V6 variants do 0-60 in 5-6 seconds. So if my calculations are correct, most V8 variants could do 0-60 in 3-4 seconds, which again seems pretty fast, until you look at cars with V8 engines. I mean is it faster than typical travel. yes definitely. Is it extremely fast. Not really. Considering we have cars that go 0-100 in 2 seconds (which obviously just doing simple math tells you they are much faster).
I have been thinking about this for a very long time and just now decided to do this kind of thing (lyrical analysis) I’ll be doing this quite often for fun.
