one really important aspect of kaz’s character is that he is terrifyingly patient. like an expectant shark about to draw blood fr. he’s been working towards his goals for nearly a whole decade, slowly building himself up and getting stronger and more powerful, directing himself further towards where he needs to go, and holding out until he is at a point where he’s able to take down pekka rollins. so take that and imagine in the context of kanej;

since inej canonically didn't know how to read kerch when being freed from the menagerie, and since she can read kaz's notes he sends to van eck later on, she had to have learned to read kerch somewhere in the middle. the idea of kaz teaching her to read kerch is really fond to me. like, yeah she could've just picked it up, but the idea of kaz teaching her to read in kerch is so much better. idk i just be thinking abt them lol.

EXCUSE ME??? FUCK YOU!! He is NOT stereotypical, he's a thousand times better than more than half of those cringey book boyfriends that idiots thirst over on TikTok. He's literally disabled, has PTSD that was represented REAISTICALLY FOR ONCE, ACTUALLY RESPECTS HIS LOVE INTEREST, has meaningful relationships outside of his romantic interest and fucks up SEVERAL times, despite being so smart. Additionally, all the Crows are flawed morally grey characters who do stupid stuff sometimes, don't act as if that only applies to Kaz, that's not fair and also stereotypes the other Crows as well, reducing them to one-dimensional personalities. And Kaz also changes, GET THAT THROUGH YOUR HEAD.

Kaz loving magic tricks as a boy and falling in love with a girl who can dissapear. Inej being told to find a boy who remembers her favorite flower, and falling in love with a boy who remembers her most important dreams. Jesper losing the one person who saw him as blessed and falling in love with a boy who sees him as even more than that. Wylan seeing magic in every mundane thing, and falling in love with a boy with magic in his veins. Nina growing up knowing she would always be targeted and falling in love with a boy who vows to protect her. Matthias losing his love for the world as a child and falling in love with a girl who loves even the simplest of pleasures.

the double meanings because diana's perception of gabe is telling her to lay their fuck off I'm almost an adult blah blah blah BUT ALSO real gabe has been gone for almost 18 years (well technically like 17 and a bit he died when he was 8 months old?) and he's subtly telling her himself that she needs to let go also very cleverly foreshadowing the revelation of the fact that Gabe is dead later on sjsjejwjwjsiissijs
