Your feelings are valid. You have every right to feel whatever emotion you want. You aren’t being dramatic. You aren’t over exaggerating. You’re feeling. And that’s okay.
I needed this. Thank you. (via for-ashleigh-danielle)

Gender identity isn’t a delusion, regardless of chromosomes or what body parts a person has, or used to have; it is an intrinsic, deeply held sense of self.
trans, gender diverse, cis - we all have a gender identity and sense of self. Your body is not your gender, as Angelina Jolie has demonstrated in her personal journey to avoid breast and ovarian cancer.

Trans day of visibility has been going on for years, but if you want to respect #blackout you could either post everything BUT selfies, or you could only reblog selfies of black trans people. Up to you.

It’s hard to show people everything, you know? You never know what they’ll do with it once they have it.

Skylar here, again. he/him pronouns please.
I’ve been having a really rough week, but it has also been a pretty good week for selfies.
Distract me from my Astronomy homework by talking with me about cats and how pretty the sky is.
My blog is skyberryfinn.tumblr.com, lets be pals.

An Exercise in Meaning
So, the while story behind this experiment or whatever I'm calling it, is at my house, i found a homemade stress ball of sorts, filled with beans. During my various exploits and after throwing it around quite a bit and simply from being carried around all the time; beans began to fall out, i never picked them up. Eventually i wondered, if i did it consistently would people eventually notice AND would it have changed their life. In any way possible. Maybe find meaning in them, they can be a symbol of something if they want, they’ll wonder whose behind it all, and why i’m doing it and i just thought it would be fun. Like what if you just consistently found beans lying around and you didn’t know about this post. How fucking weirded out would you be? I’m putting these like literally everywhere, around school, around my house and my friends house. I’ll update you guys on what’s what with this if you’re interested leave a like and reblog.

"When I was a child, girls would never wear trousers. But then women’s lib came along and they started to wear them all the time. So I figured, if women are allowed to wear trousers, men should be allowed to wear skirts. That’s liberation too, right? So I started with a kilt and realised I quite liked it. After that I tried other skirts. I now I wear them regularly. Not all the time mind you - just whenever I feel like it.
People sometimes tease me and ask why I am wearing a woman’s skirt. But look at me. I am quite clearly a man. So this is not a woman’s skirt. It’s MY skirt. It’s a man’s skirt.”
