Ink on paper.
Colombia Urban Sketch.
I’ve been slowly learning to observe better, not just look, but really see.
This piece is from a busy Sunday in Jenesano, a small town in Boyacá, Colombia. The church’s clock tower and the framing palm leaves felt like the perfect contrast of structure and softness.
There’s something grounding about sketching places that hold stories. Places you don’t belong to, but still feel welcome in.

This is a pen and ink drawing of a quiet alley in Tunja, Boyacá, Colombia. I was captivated by the perspective, textures, and nostalgic feel of this corner. There’s something sacred about places that hold stories in silence.
Your support means the world as I continue to explore my voice through illustration.

Some days I draw to feel something.
Other days, it’s just to keep from overthinking everything.
This one came out strange and honest, and I kinda like her.
If you like this kind of work, I’m slowly building a space over at ko-fi.com/madgraphics for more slow art and sketchbook glimpses.

First post. A horse in light.
This was drawn a while ago, white pencil on black paper, focusing only on the light.
I’m starting this blog to share my process, not perfection. Just slow drawings, quiet thoughts, and hopefully a little magic along the way.
I’m still figuring out my style, and I tend to overthink everything (recovering procrastinator here). But this space is my way of showing up for my creativity, one post at a time.
I work mostly in ink and watercolor now, but this sketch still feels close to me.
