Oneshots, going forward, will be put on hold as I focus on making Symbiotic Lives a reality.

I wanted this one, Burning Away Memories, to be the last one I make before I begin working on the main comic, as I think the ideas I've covered in it, and the previous oneshots, give readers a good idea of what they're in for. Plus, it was super fun to show my characters lives before the events of the story!

WIPs and sketch below the cut

I usually work with brainstorm dirty and rough lines, then clearer line and then add flats, lights or shadows as I see fit. Last is the sketch just before inking because this is an illustration, comic pages do not need such detailing for me.

I work with several layers. One has inking, descriptive lines. Other has textures, blacks, details, etc. And the last one has extra details, temp lines (that end up being final) or in this case, white crosshatch in case I want to change my mind light-wise.

Aziraphale found Crowley floating blankly in the stormy sky. "The children" was all he said. He didn't seem to recognize Aziraphale.

He slowly pulled him into his arms and held him tightly to him. Crowley didn't move and just continued to stare at the raging waters below him.

Deep inside Aziraphale felt a simmering anger rise and for the first time in his existence he looked toward the sky with a gaze that was not filled with love and confidence...
