okay so first post with the challenge by @abundanceofpixels which at this point is several years old, but I did start this challenge a couple of years ago and did not get very far but I feel like it deserves better and I got inspired so why not

also just wanna give a disclaimer, this sim (who we're gonna be seeing a lot of) does not fit this vibe. this is not her aesthetic, she's a rich bleach blonde girlypop and a bit of a snob. but it asked for my favorite so I had to do black and burgundy with an edgier vibe cause I vibe.

Choose your favorite sim (could be yours, could be someone else’s), and create three pics with them. One with Maxis Match, one with Alpha and the other without cc.

i just chose to make a new sim cause that’s all I ever do. i’m not entirely sure tho what alpha cc vs maxis cc is tho like especially for makeup, (and if you know me, you know i can’t make up my mind for the life of me, so I just use both) so if it ain’t accurate, I apologize. (did i have to google how to spell that word? yes)

Also, without cc? Hun, I would have to remove my mods folder, and she’s using a custom lip preset (i just downloaded it kay, i wanted to use it cause it pretty as heck) so uh, there’s a gif instead.

My first pet stuff impressions on Seasons:

This is the first expansion pack that isn’t, y’know, trash. Get to Work, Get Together, City Living and Cats & Dogs are QUAKING honey.

LOVE the swing set and kiddie pools.

The lighting changes based on the season and the heat wave effect in the summer are excellent.

Creating custom holidays sounds pretty interesting.

I wonder if Outerwear is going to be a new clothing category? If not, how is the game going to recognize certain outfits as “outerwear”? 

The lack of a new world is really disappointing, but it is Sims 4. You pick between a pretty new world with nothing to do or tons to do but no new world.

I’m curious about how the UI is going to look like for seasons. It’d be so cool to have actual temperatures like Sims 3 did.

Can someone please fire the furry on the Sims team because they keep including fursuits with every pack. Thanks.
