Goodbye to my lolo
The house feels strangely quiet now. The familiar rhythm of Lolo's laughter, his stories, the gentle clinking of his coffee cup in the morning – all gone, replaced by a silence that echoes with the weight of loss. Looking at this photo, taken at his wake, brings it all flooding back.
The image captures a moment of quiet grief. There's a stillness, a solemnity that speaks volumes. I'm standing before his coffin, a simple white box that holds so much more than just his earthly remains. It holds a lifetime of memories, of lessons learned, of love shared.
He was more than just my grandfather; he was my confidant, my teacher, my friend. He taught me the value of hard work, the importance of family, and the simple joy of a cup of coffee shared in quiet companionship. His stories, often repeated, were filled with wisdom and a gentle humor that could always make me smile.
This picture isn't just a snapshot of a sad day; it's a testament to a life well-lived. It's a reminder of the love and legacy he leaves behind. Though my heart aches with his absence, I find comfort in the memories we shared, in the lessons he taught, and in the love that continues to bind our family together. His spirit lives on in each of us, a quiet echo in the stillness of our hearts. Goodbye, Lolo. I'll miss you always🙁
