How is the animation going so far?

Hello!! Sorry for not updating this tumblr in a while

The project had to be put on hold for logistical reasons and the timeline has therefore been postponed, some new animators joined and some others gave up their parts which has led to some delays

Steady progress is however being made and 27 parts have already been completed and the others are being worked on by the many talented animators of this project

I’ll keep occasionally updating you guys on here as well as posting some sneak peaks into the animation :D

hello! if I'm interested in signing up, how would I go about doing that? and what would be the deadline? and what parts are open etc etc just the basic questions

Hey (:

If you’re interested in joining simply DM with some of your art / animation examples and then you’ll be provided with a link to our discord where the project is being hosted

The deadline for newcomers would be the 1st March but if that is to little time you can ask for an extension of a few weeks.

Once you join our discord server you’ll be able to see exactly which parts are open and you can pick whichever one you’d like to do, currently there are a few Micheal distortion and one Helen distortion part open (:

Unfortunately some people have recently dropped out of the project and 7 parts are open again now

The animators already on the project cannot take these up since they’ve already gotten plenty of work to do themselves so I’m reopening applications to join the project

Here’s some info regarding the animation:

There’s no required level of animation, you can do a fully rendered 24 fps clip or a simple coloured in animatic based on how much time and effort you’re willing to put in

Since you would be joining the project late, the deadline for the parts would be the end of March

You can take up to 3 parts

Hello!! I’m here to inform you that the final product probably won’t be out until March as we’ve pushed deadlines back a month bc many people were having trouble managing their personal lives and the project and we don’t want anyone to be stressed out!

Any progress on the animation?

The animation is currently in works! We’ve got a few parts finished already and are currently looking at finishing all parts by December 31st as to give everyone plenty of time to finish their animation parts without stress.

Until then I’ll occasionally post some updates and little snippets like frames on here (:

I‘m hoping to finish a trailer or smth like that by January and then the final product should be out by Jan / Feb next year!

That’s why the form asks you where I can contact you! I’m sending everyone who’s applied a message with the discord link and then on the discord server there’s a google doc and a part list where you can choose your own part (:
