The Amateur’s Guide to Writing
Writing is a skill everyone have. Anyone can write, but few will want to improve their writing skills. The good thing is that everyone can also improve their writing skills. This is a place where anyone can figure out the steps needed to improve how they write. There are a few easy steps to become better at writing. Writing is the most important thing to do when wanting to be better at the very topic, and there's plenty a person can do and plenty of places they can go to improve their writing. Reading also helps to form ideas and observe the skills of others. Of course, someone can't truly get better without some helpful criticism. Others' opinions are one of the most powerful resources people have. Utilizing all these tools can help anyone become a better writer.
Practice makes progress. No one can get better at a skill without actually using said skill. If one wants to get better at writing, they need to write. There are many techniques and resources a person can use to help them write better. Lifehack has a detailed list of the things one can do to improve their writing, though the big idea is to keep writing. When writer's block strikes a writer, one can simply keep writing even if it doesn't quite pertain to the topic. This helps to get ideas flowing and the mind thinking. Writing down all the ideas you have helps keep track of what someone wants to write, and it provides a physical copy of something anyone could forget. Lifehack suggests creating a writing routine. Writing every day can help you to become a better writer. Every little bit of practice helps, and the more people write, the better they become. A full-time writer has to write for several hours a day, but someone starting out can settle for half an hour. Grammarly says to be aware of the big idea. When people have a clear idea of what they want to say, they'll know what to write. Grammarly also has various tips on how to make someone's writing easier to read along with some grammar tips. The most anyone can do when wanting to get better is practice.
If one wants to be better at writing, then they need to read. People write so others can read. Reading helps writers in many ways and is said to assist writers in becoming better. The Huffington Post suggests it helps to inspire our ideas among other things. Reading is how people learn. It helps to find new words and their meanings, new information that is backed up by facts, and opinions of others that can change minds. If a writer wishes to work in a certain field of writing such as a fiction author or a journalist, they should read the works of others in their field. By reading the works of great writers, an amateur can see what works and what doesn't and can see how others can convey an idea they wanted to tell. Reading the genre a beginning writer may want to work in can help they see what specifically makes a story fantasy, horror, or nonfiction. The biggest reason reading helps a writer is that it helps the writer get to know the reader. If a creator of children shows wants to make shows children will like, they need to look at shows children already watch to see what children like and what they don't. It's about finding things that interest people and how to make one's own work interesting to others. There are many ways reading helps a writer.
If no one sees a great work of art, how does anyone knows it's great? Society runs on the opinion of others. People who want to become famous in the eyes of others have to first appear before the eyes of others. A person can't judge their own piece of work. They need feedback, and the way to get that is by putting their work out in the open. An easy way to start is to show friends or family what's been written so far. Then when confidence rises, a person can try social media. WattPad is a website where writers can upload stories they've made up or experienced. It's a free website where writers can read and share their works and get feedback from others to see what they need to work on. Tumblr is a place where people can post pictures and stories, and they receive comments. It's a good place for someone who wishes to blog or share stories about their experiences. It's important to remember that when getting feedback, it can be good and bad. Snap Survey believes feedback can motivate people. Good feedback helps a writer's confidence and motivates them to write more. Bad feedback can also be good. Criticism isn't always easy to take, and some criticism should be taken with a grain of salt, but if it's looked at the right way, the criticism can help a writer fix whatever problem they have or help them realize a mistake they keep making. Feedback is there to help people learn what they can do to be better.
Writing is a tool everybody uses in their day-to-day lives, and it's a skill everyone can improve on. By utilizing resources online and writing every day, a person shows they are serious about being a better writer. Reading helps a person to expand their knowledge about how something is written or could be rewritten. It is also a good way to find inspiration because, without a want to write something, there's no reason to write. It's important to share writing, not only because that's how people communicate, but because it gives people feedback and shows them how they can improve their writing skills. Writing is more than grammar and punctuation. It's sharing ideas and feelings, experiences and desires. Improving this skill helps to improve how people communicate with each other.

Potion Maker - Fairies
Like I’ve said, Fairies are rewarded to you as you do requests. To do a request, you just click on a customer icon and instead of making their potion, you hit request and ask them to do one. Each fairy has their own request. The better the fairy, the longer you have to wait for the request to be fulfilled, and you don’t always get the fairy. Some are a rare find.
You can level up your fairies as well by doing the same thing, putting in a request (over and over again). Each request cost money as well, but I have a few tricks for that.
Each fairy has a special talent or talents. Some make it easier to level up a certain branch of potions, some get you more experience points, and some help level up potions quicker. My favorite is Six Tail, the ultra rare fairy who helps lower the waiting time between customers. She makes it so nice to not have to wait five minutes for a customer.

Potion Maker - Characters
In Potion Maker, you can play as two characters: Pio and Tia.
Pio was the first original character you could play as. She is small, but if you listen to the dialogue she says to you, she’s actually older than you think. Apparently, demons take a long time to age (bet you thought she was a witch). Pio seems to be very mature for whatever age she is. She’s so darn cute though if you ask me.
Tia is Pio’s sister. It’s not specified whether they’re related or not. “Sister” really is the title Tia gave herself when she came to Pio’s potion shop. In the case that they are sisters, Pio would actually be the older sister. Tia had a growth spurt or something. Tia can be a bit egotistical, thinking she’s the best potion-maker around, but she’s rather eccentric.
Those hearts under their names is their lovability rate. You earn more by fulfilling requests. All their rates do is unlock more dialogue for you to share with whoever you choose to play as. You can switch between sisters at any time.

Potion Maker - Events
Events in Potion Maker are really cool because they provide new, limited requests. Requests are special actions you can use with your customers. You can ask them to do a request in exchange for power-ups, love points, and fairy experience. Events allow you to get experience for special fairies or allow you to get new fairies. Events also reward you with new costumes for your characters after you’ve completed the request a number of times.
Not all Events are the same. Some events require you to collect special ingredients in order to get your rewards. Another event is to score enough points in a minigame. Most events will reward you with two costumes, some only one. In that case, you won’t have to fulfill as many requests.
This is the event that’s going on now: The Feast of Virgo. Virgo is a zodiac sign in astrology. This event matches perfectly with the dates Virgos are born (August 23rd to September 22nd). To learn more about Virgos, click here.

Potion Maker
Basically, the premise of the game is to make potions by taking on the ingredients at the top of the screen. The ingredients fall into the potion as you tap them and increase the value of your potion. The only ingredient important to crafting a specific potion is the first one. The ones after that just add to the cost of your potion.
There are quests you can do to acquire power ups, such doubling the price of your potion or protecting you potion from an enhancement gone wrong.Quests are available on the left under the event.

Writing Prompt #17
https://thinkwritten.com/365-creative-writing-prompts/
Dictionary Definition
“Irradiate” I only thought it meant to emit light, but it can also mean to enlighten. It also means “to expose to X-rays or other radiant energy,” but I think I’ll stick with “enlightens.”
