obey me brothers playing dress to impress

✎ a/n: for anyone who doesn't know, dress to impress is a fashion competition game on roblox.. just search it up on tiktok if you don't know!

LUCIFER thinks the whole game is stupid, but plays it once in a while to bond with his brothers. he sticks on theme, but adds his own personal 'goth/dark academia' flare to every outfit. he usually gets on the podium because most of his brothers vote him 5 stars (save for Satan and Belphegor), but he only gives them what he thinks they deserve.

MAMMON stays on theme, but doesn't care about dressing too great. he's just farming for money. usually doesn't end up on the podium. sometimes he just runs around collecting the money instead of working on his outfit. if the theme is something he likes, like 'street style' he goes all out.

LEVIATHAN actually takes the game seriously. he dresses the best he can, adheres to every theme perfectly, etc. his favorite theme is cosplay. if people vote unfairly or he doesn't get on the podium, he gets confrontational over chat.

SATAN puts his best effort into the outfits and LOVES the dark academia theme. he likes making references to pop culture, literature, etc. like for example, dressing up as a harry potter character. if he doesn't get on the podium but people with worse outfits do, he bullies them... he knows they're little kids, but he doesn't care.

ASMODEUS slays at every single outfit, because he's been alive for so long he knows everything about human fashion trends, subcultures, etc. he does try and add his own favorite style to every outfit, which is probably something like "coquette" into his outfits. When other people are on the runway, he's very verbal. He types things like "so cute!" and "ew" depending on the person's outfit. Votes honestly.

BEELZEBUB doesn't really care too much about the game. when he plays with his brothers, he just votes them all 5 stars out of kindness, even if their outfits are shit. beel's outfits are mid, he usually doesn't get on the podium, but places in the mid-range area. he wishes there were more food props his character could hold.

BELPHEGOR does not put any effort into his outfits. he votes all of his brothers 1 star because he thinks watching the whole fashion show is boring and tiring. the only theme he slays at is the slumber party theme because he has opinions on what pajamas look cute and what pajamas look ugly.

"I've missed my bed..." you mumble, flopping onto your mattress in the HoL. You pull out your phone, opening your favorite otome game: Mystic Messenger.

You had endured a long day at RAD, full of making excuses for slipping out of your classes. You couldn't help it: to get a good ending in Mystic Messenger, you had to complete a certain percentage of the daily chatrooms. So, whenever you heard that familiar 'ping' notification, you would excuse yourself and stalk off to the nearest bathroom, closet, or any place where you could be alone.

With all of your classes and chores done, you could finally laze around in bed, playing at your own leisure without the threat of a professor or classmate looming over your shoulder. That was, until a knock rang at your door, prompting the entrance of a certain demon.

LUCIFER stood in the doorway cautiously, entering your room just as you clicked on a chat room with 707.

"MC, I'm here to get that classical vinyl I left here last night- oh... am I interrupting something?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at the amount of text messages appearing on your phone screen.

"Oh, no! Come in," you wave the demon over. Despite Lucifer's otherwise sophisticated nature, he couldn't help but sneak a peek at your phone, which was conveniently held in his field of vision.... Only to see 707 taking up the whole chat room, spamming text messages and emoticons at lightning speed.

"MC, who is that? he texts like Mammon," Lucifer scoffed with disgust. "are you... dating someone?"

"It's a character in a game, Lucifer!" you smiled, staring at your phone screen. "don't worry about it."

"Oh." Lucifer stated curtly. his hand subconsciously slid over his chest, as he felt a surge of blood pumping through his veins.

A game? I feel relieved that another demon, angel, or even that human solomon hasn't beaten me to MC's affection... but still...!

You felt a soft hand on your cheek. Tearing your eyes away from the screen, you found your face inches away from Lucifer's blood-red eyes, which were staring deep into your soul.

"Remember, MC... You belong to me. No one else... Game or otherwise." His sweet voice dripped onto your tongue like honey.

MAMMON bounded into your room for no reason, as per usual. It had become customary at this point for him to come over, sit on your bed, and simply chill with you almost every day.

"MC, you've been on your phone all day, who are you talking to that's not me?" Mammon pouted, laying on the bed next to you, dramatically splaying his arms out for your attention.

"Mammon, don't be an attention whore," You joked. "There's no need to be jealous."

"Hey, don't go around calling me jealous! I don't get jealous!" Mammon protested.

He suddenly froze when he saw what looked like an incoming call on your phone screen... From somebody named 'Jumin Han.' You accepted the call before Mammon unexpectedly threw himself across your lap.

"WHO'S JUMIN HAN?" He yelled, basically tackling you.

"HeYY! Get off me!" You shoved the demon, but to no avail. After a short power struggle for your phone, he finally grabbed it and yelled into the receiver.

"WHO ARE YOU? STOP CALLING MY HUMAN!"

"I just closed a deal with an oil company in the middle east... the life of a future CEO is always busy," the game character, Jumin stated in his cold tone.

"Ugh, even his cold way of speaking reminds me of Lucifer!" Mammon groaned. "Wait... A future CEO? So... What I'm hearing is that he's rich?"

"Get off me, Mammon!" You groaned. "It's just a game!"

"Hey, Jumin Han! I don't care who you are, or how powerful your credit card is. MC is MY HUMAN, ya hear?!"

LEVIATHAN knocks on your door before entering, his Nintendo Switch console in hand.

"MC, don't tell me you forgot about our MarioKart tournament today! Levi sighed.

"Nope, I haven't-- I just have to finish this chat really quick," you said, waving Leviathan over to your bed.

The purple-haired boy blushed, but complied with your request. As he sat next to you, the bed dipped slightly from his weight, and you smiled at your phone screen, scooting close to Leviathan to fill in the awkward space and get more cozy. However, Levi's embarrassed attitude vanished entirely as he glanced at your phone.

"Ooh, is that Mystic Messenger? I love that game!" Leviathan gushed.

"You... You've played it?" You asked, looking at him with wide eyes.

"Of course! I've played every single route and unlocked most of the DLC!" He grinned proudly. "But, MC... Don't get too attached to that app, alright?"

You looked at Levi, whose face was red as he refused to make eye contact with you.

"Don't be jealous, Leviathan. You know that I love talking to you all day, every day."

"H-Hey, that's not what I meant! But you're right! I'll always be here for you, unlike them!"

The two of you spend the rest of the night talking about your experiences with the game, its backstory, and other fandoms that the both of you are in together.

₊⊹ is not as cautious as she should be. literally walks around the devildom at night, alone, no matter how many times the brothers tell her not to. talks back to lucifer with no fear. stands up for herself when lesser demons threaten her.

₊⊹ diavolo invites her for tea once a week to talk extensively about humans so he can learn more. --"mc, please tell me what 'slay' means... and is it true that your intestines are 20 feet long?"

₊⊹ she goes to barbatos's kitchen once a week to bake with him and luke. the three exchange recipes from their own respective realms. the kitchen has only lit on fire once so far!

₊⊹ whenever she has lots of work or assignments to do, she quietly slips into lucifer's room. the two listen to classical music and silently study together. --"I'm glad that my study habits motivate you to do better, mc."

₊⊹ is always the last to hear about pop culture news/does not keep up with celebrities. leviathan is shocked to hear that he knows more about human celebrities than her. --"mc, you're telling me you haven't heard this album yet? this is literally from YOUR realm!"

₊⊹ immediately feels sleepy/tired whenever mammon or simeon walks into the room. this is because they're her favorites and she feels the safest around them, so she lets her guard down when they're near.

₊⊹ begs simeon to take her to the celestial realm so that she can talk to the angels that she has prayed to since she was little. she has a fascination with angels after growing up immersed in religious mythology. --"mc, I promise I'll take you once this exchange program is over."

LUCIFER knows a bit about humans because he was in charge of working out the exchange program details. so from the time you first land in the devildom to the present day, he's routinely checking in with you, asking if you want or need any accommodations, trips to human-world doctors for routine checkups, etc. when you two get closer, he really loves getting lost in your eyes after a long day of stress and work. if you get flustered and look away, he gently holds your chin and pulls you back to him before giving you a soft kiss to your forehead.

"you're stunning, mc. will you let me look at those (e/c) eyes of yours for some more time please?"

MAMMON has had little contact with non-witch humans, so he probably wouldn't understand or notice that your appearance is unique among humans. if you bring it up to him, he'd be a bit surprised, but he patiently listens to you explain if you want to, and feels more connected to you (although he wouldn't admit it out loud) since he understands you more. he would also feel bad for not asking if you wanted or needed anything from the human world earlier. when he takes you to the human world, he gets distracted and tries to buy little gifts for you (and himself).

"now don't go gettin' the wrong idea, mc, but you're my favorite human! don't you think this necklace matches your pretty eyes?"

LEVIATHAN thinks your features are super cute and unique, and as a result, when the two of you are alone, he's quite clingy/affectionate with your face. he presses shy kisses to your forehead and possessively holds you close to him, away from his other brothers and the rest of the world. sometimes he often forgets to check with you about your needs and preferences, but tries his best.

"you're cute, mc... if my video game is making you strain your eyes, I can adjust the settings. just let me know."

SATAN thinks your unique features are really cute, but is a bit too flustered to say it out loud, especially if lucifer is near. he has the tendency to forget about personal space when he's talking to you about anything he's excited about. your unique eyes draw him in every time, so he gradually leans closer and closer to you while in conversation, but then realizes that his lips are VERY close to yours and gets slightly flustered. if you try and pull away, he gently grabs your arm to stop you.

"mc, your eyes are so alluring. being so close to you is a dream... please let me admire your beauty for longer."

ASMODEUS loves to gush over how cute you are. he thinks that your eyes add to the number of unique features that he loves about you. if you like makeup, he loves to hang out with you and create eccentric looks that bring out your eye color, hair color, and other features. if you are shy about your appearance, he is the first to brush your hair out of your face and tell you how pretty you are.

BEELZEBUB would be a little bit clueless, just like mammon. you'd have to explain to him why your appearance is unique from other humans. he would get it then, and also make sure that your needs and preferences are met. he thinks that your eyes suit you and likes to tell you that you're cute in his own unique way. his favorite place to kiss you are in the corners of your eyes, your cheeks, and your forehead.

"mc, you're so adorable... I could just devour you. not actually, of course."

BELPHEGOR just loves your unique features, and he loves saying it to your face as well. he's always calling you perfect, beautiful, handsome, etc. especially when the two of you are about to take a nap together. he loves to face you while cuddling, so he can stare into your eyes as they become heavier and heavier, while you fall into sleep. it's his favorite thing to do before he gently wraps his arms around you and pulls your face into his warm chest. as much as belphegor loves napping, he will only fall asleep after you do. this is so that he can stare at you for a few minutes while you seem peaceful and happy.

simeon watching over mc from the celestial realm

✎ synopsis: mc is depressed after the exchange program so simeon watches over them. this takes place shortly after lesson 20 but before MC goes back to the devildom!

✎ a/n: made this drabble bc ever since i was a child, i was told by my parents that an angel is watching over me so it still brings me comfort to this day!

after the RAD exchange program ended and MC returned to the human world, they struggled to adjust to their daily life. MC had made lifelong friends and adjusted to an entirely new culture only to be ripped away from their new life just as they started getting comfortable in the devildom.

frequent life changes took a large toll on the human body. simeon knew that from years of watching over humans. he and luke adjusted back to their lives and duties in the celestial realm quite easily. the exchange program had been but a small millisecond in their long, immortal lives. despite that, simeon felt his heart ache at the thought of having to wait till MC's death to finally see them again, so he often watched over MC.

the angel often felt MC's eyes gazing towards the celestial realm. he felt their stare in the early morning, when the sun embraced the earth in a scarlet-gold hue, and at night, when silvery stars painted the velvet sky. every day, the clouds seemed to part just so that MC could catch a glimpse of the heavens.

although MC couldn't see simeon from the human realm, he had looked directly in their eyes on many ocassions. he wondered why MC's heart lingered on the heavens. shouldn't they be living their human life to the fullest instead of focusing on what came after? human lives are so short, after all.

with sadness, simeon realized that MC was struggling. all he wanted to do was to fly down to his little lamb and hold them in his arms, letting them know that he was always close, watching over them. knowing that angels were not supposed to have close relationships with their charges, especially after lilith, simeon knew he had to appear to MC in subtle ways.

you sighed, spending another day staring up at the clouds instead of tending to your responsibilities. it felt like the days blurred in on each other. every week was the same, you had no energy to continue with your human life as usual.

you had dealt with depression for a lot of your life, but it was manageable. the exchange program had helped, providing a change of environment. now that you were back, your depression hit you harder than before, as you constantly felt the heavy sensation of loss.

you especially missed simeon, as you had gotten close to the angel during your time in the exchange program. the only thing that brought you comfort was staring up at the clouds, wondering if simeon could see you.

this particular day was no different than the one prior. you sat outside on the grass, staring at the clouds above, trying not to acknowledge the feeling of emptiness inside you.

suddenly, something soft brushed against your leg. a cat, purring lovingly, crawled into your lap. it seemed like the animal had just appeared out of thin air. as you gently scratched behind its ear, you took note of the white markings on its brown fur that looked suspiciously like wings.

when you stared into the cat's eyes and saw pools of blue and yellow staring back at you, you smiled for the first time in weeks. immediately, you knew that your angel was watching you from heaven, and with his love, you would find the strength to continue on.

✎ a/n: in lieu of the paris 2024 olympics... this is what sport I think each brother would play if they HAD to play a sport bc lets be honest belphie and asmodeus would probABLY NOT. also lesson 16 spoilers for belphegor!

LUCIFER -equestrian. bro definitely thinks he looks regal on a stallion. I think he'd also like to show his strength through his mount and skill instead of a show of brute strength or teamwork.

MAMMON - track and field or soccer. it's canon that he's so fast that even his brothers can't catch up to him. also he has the build of a sprinter; thin but with lean muscle. he may also have the stamina for soccer but maybe less of teamwork skill.

LEVIATHAN - swimming or water polo. it's kind of self-explanatory, but since he was hell's navy captain and his demon form is based on aquatic mythology. he would be super strong in the water regardless!

SATAN - fencing. he would love this medival ahh sport (jkjk I LOVE FENCERS). but fencing requires quick thinking, strategic style, physical intimidation, and agility which I think satan would have and enjoy over a physically demanding sport.

ASMODEUS - artistic gymnastics. let's be honest bro would not want to ruin his hair/nails/etc. but out of every olympic sport, his flexibility and grace would suit gymnastics!

BEELZEBUB - rugby. he just has that rugby build lmao. his brute strength and teamwork skills would definitely make him a strong player... (hes so fine)

BELPHEGOR - archery. I know this is vile to say because of lilith being shot by an arrow LMAOO but he's just so thin and nimble. the environment is also more quiet than sports with lots of crowds and noise like soccer and weightlifting.

diavolo on a ghost tour

Imagine taking Diavolo to a human world destination that's considered "haunted," like one of those American cities that capitalize off cheesy ghost tours, like Salem or Savannah.

Imagine Diavolo earnestly listening to every word that escapes the unenthusiastic tour guide's mouth.

"Diavolo, you know these stories are fake, right? It's just a tourist trap," MC giggles.

"Are you sure, MC? This place seems pretty haunted to me! Human culture is so interesting, you all are fascinated with frightening yourselves intentionally!"

MC then realizes that if demons exist, it wouldn't be crazy for ghosts to exist either. So they cling onto Diavolo's warm arm for comfort for the rest of the night as he laughs away at the gruesome stories of murder and hauntings. Diavolo thinks it's adorable that MC seeks out his comfort, even though it's not necessary. After all, no paranormal entity would dare try hurting the Demon King's partner.

Diavolo then decides to gaslight the other tourists at the end of the tour by switching in and out of his demon form quickly. As his wings and horns flash for a mere millisecond, the humans run off screaming, causing the two of you to break out into laughter.

"Young Master... I cannot say that messing around with humans is recommended." Barbatos chimes in.

Plot twist: the ghost tours are real, and Diavolo can see every single one. He actually waved and chatted with a few ghosts.

brothers reaction to mc with a long skincare routine

✎ warnings: the word blood

"Finally!" You grinned to yourself, hauling a large package on the HoL dining table. Inside were all of your favorite products; hair oils, body scrubs, perfumes, face washes, serums, and the like.

Since you had been summoned unexpectedly to the Devildom, you were forced to use the oddest local products; a facewash that burned your flesh, deodorant that smelled suspiciously like blood, and hair masks that were green and slimy.

As much as you loved Devildom culture, it was tough to find products that didn't harm your human skin and hair, even with Asmodeus's help. So you were glad when Barbatos personally cleared your package from the human world at Devildom customs, where it had been stuck under inspection for the past month.

Later that night while you were indulging in your products, a certain brother came to visit you in your room.

LUCIFER would probably sigh at the number of products you use. he watches you layer serum over serum on your face with a judgemental expression.

"this long of a routine is a waste of time and money, mc. you could be studying right now.

then you walk by him, sending a wave of the honey-scented body scrub you use in his direction. his resolve threatens to break as his face grows warm. thoughts of running his lips over your sugar- scented neck plague his mind. the next day, lucifer visits the human world to buy everything you use, so you never run out in the Devildom.

MAMMON initially comes to your room to see if you have any luxury items worth much. however, he curiously watches you as you go through your hair and skincare routine, and asks if he can try some products out. he's adorable, obviously excited to be involved in whatever you're doing, and not wanting to be left out.

"can you put that on me too, mc? oh, and that? what does this one do?"

before long, you and mammon are cuddling in bed and watching a movie, waiting for the pink glittery face mask on both of your faces to dry.

LEVIATHAN would be interested in the packaging of your skincare, especially if its those asian brands with anime and hello kitty packaging. he'd declare that he's going to buy skincare products with ruri-chan packaging! he probably won't ask to try your products, since Devildom products work better for him, but he wouldn't protest when you put something on him, just to get one of those stereotypical scenes from romance anime, where the protagonist leans in close and...

"MC, I know you're trying to put serum on my lashes, but y-you're too close!"

SATAN inspects the packaging and ingredients of your skincare, thinking back to his research in chemicals and potions classes. He suddenly cups your face, running his thumb over your soft skin.

"MC, why are you so flustered? I'm just trying to understand your skin composition."

the next day, he uses his knowledge in potions and with a list of the chemicals in your products, recreates all your products, so that you can get them for free.

"S-stop grinning like an idiot, MC. I just did this to expand my knowledge on human products, that's all."

he did it because he loves you

ASMODEUS is absolutely DELIGHTED that your package has come. he had helped you this past month, trying to find products that worked for you in the Devildom, but to no avail. he definitely uses popular human world products as well, but not nearly as much as you. he literally wants to do EVERYTHING with you that night, from showering together to skincare.

"MC, show me absolutely EVERYTHING you do, step by step! We can do our routines alongside each other!"

the two of you have so much fun comparing products and being beauty product nerds together. he promises to give you the angelic essence serum he smuggled from the celestial realm, but only if you get him that a tube of that korean sunscreen he's been eyeing.

"my beautiful angel MC! you're glowing!"

BEELZEBUB would try and eat your products. they just smell so good, like candy, honey, and flowers! after preventing him from gobbling them down in one bite, he curiously watches you. he probably wouldn't ask you to put any products on himself, but he wouldn't mind if you do. he provides emotional support while watching you, completely entranced with how your face glows after every step.

Imagine Simeon accidentally appearing before MC in his biblically accurate angel form instead of his humanlike form.

Biblical angels are known for being terrifying to humans, since they're basically rings with infinite eyes and wings. So, Simeon is worried that you will fear him forever after this.
