"How to Reason with a Dragon" -- Cheryl Duval illustrated the cover of Dragon magazine #48-1/2, actually page 13 of Dragon 48, the intro to the annual April Fool humor section for the April 1981 issue. Duval also was an artist and coauthor of the Wizard's Realm fantasy RPG rules by Mystic Swamp released the same year.

So this has been a few years in the making. Dyed the roving, drop-spindle spun and plied the yarn, knit the shawl, and blocked (image above). First time knitting lace, so I'm pretty jazzed with how it came out. Also first time blocking a piece.

Basic concept was stormcloud. Think it turned out pretty well.
