OKAY BUT LET’S JUST TALK ABOUT HOW SEEING THAWNE AGAIN BROUGHT BACK THAT SCARED PUPPY LOOK CISCO HAD IN HIS EYES IN SEASON 1, AND THE WAY HE ZONED OUT FOR A SECOND WHILE HE WAS BRACING TO FEEL HIS HEART GETTING SHREDDED AGAIN, BUT THEN AS SOON AS REALIZED HE COULD ACTUALLY FIGHT BACK THIS TIME, HE ABSOLUTELY WENT OFF. THAWNE HAD HIM IN THE MOST VULNERABLE POSITION HE COULD HAVE POSSIBLY PUT HIM IN, AND LITERALLY THE MOMENT CISCO DISCOVERED THAT HE WASN’T POWERLESS TO DEFEND HIMSELF, HE FUCKING BROUGHT IT.

I also find it interesting that while everyone else is just happy that Crisis is over and they survived, and they’re all ready to call that a victory, Cisco seems to be the only one deeply troubled by the fact that trillions of other people died.

It’s almost like Cisco is consistently written to be the character who is the most representative of…

for the record im really really tired of this show letting cisco have an emotion that is completely reasonable and appropriate for the situation and then immediately telling him he's wrong to have it

bro the flash writers rly out here saying fuck cisco rights huh

first they knock him out every fight bc they cant find a good reason for why his powers wldnt easily beat the bad guy

then they start a plot line that completely goes against all of his character development from the earlier seasons (bc undoing ur own character development is always a great idea)

then they tease us w that one cisco centric ep from earlier this season that Heavily Implies that he’ll get his powers back + they show us him in his vibe suit in the flash forwards to crisis

then they literally GIVE HIM HIS POWERS BACK in crisis

and now theyre just gone again? and hes leaving to... what? write biographies for every criminal on the planet? and they couldnt even show him saying goodbye to his girlfriend or best friends??? really glad that he slapped that doorway on his way out, they had such a great relationship:)

WHERE IS CISCO???

I know he’s alive again because Carlos isn’t leaving, but how is he? Was he restored with or without his Vibe powers? If he does have them, did the new timeline/universe affect him in a headaches-and-nosebleeds kind of way? Why wasn’t he a part of the shrink-bomb building team in his own lab? And why did no one think, hey, we have a friend who can see through and manipulate the vibrations of the universe, THERE MIGHT BE A COOL WAY WE CAN UTILIZE THAT TO SAVE THE UNIVERSE? And if he does have his powers, where’s the emotionally satisfying conclusion to his storyline about giving them up? Like, they can’t just give him his powers back against his will so he can use them in one scene, then leave him stuck with them and have that be the end of it; if he’s gonna get them back permanently, I need to see him choose to have them again, because he wants them, not because his value as a hero/person is tied to them. And another thing, if Diggle now has John AND Sara, then that means the effects of Flashpoint have been partially undone, so what does that mean for Dante? Also, why do all crossovers insist on painting Oliver as Barry’s bff?

Sorry, but this wasn't the emotional episode we're all scared about, boy oh boy! The writer of the emotional episode is Leigh Lahav. This weeks writer was Eddy Rivas. Leigh also stated that the emotional episode would also be her next episode to show up, but that this will also be a while

no!!!!!!!!!!!! tht was definitely the emotional ep and now we have notjing to worry abt!!! the rest of the season will be Happy And Lighthearted and everythijg will be fine:)
