This month's Monthly Postcard will go out a bit late, but I wanted to send something freshly bought in Moscow. This postcard comes from the Tretyakov Gallery souvenir shop. I visited their Mai Miturich exhibition—he was a graphic artist who I know as a great children's book artist. I posted his works many times before (check the link above).

This postcard is Mai Miturich's illustration for Chukovsky's "The Adventures of Bibigon", which is easily his most known work in children's books.

Дикие Лебеди / The Wild Swans (1962)

is a Soviet traditionally animated feature film directed by the husband-and-wife team of Mikhail Tsekhanovsky and Vera Tsekhanovskaya. The film is based on the story of the same name by Hans Christian Andersen. Unusual for Soviet films of this period, and especially for animated films, it was produced in widescreen.

Amatharine is a fantasy comic featuring anthro animals. In it, a vixen woman finds and takes in a mysterious human toddler in a world reshaped by a calamity.

Expect it to be like a slice of life with lore, found family, and mystery elements, with a bit of adventure.

I only need $500 to drastically speed up production; it would help a ton! For just a $10 pledge, I am offering a full digital PDF of chapter 1 (about 20ish pages) plus bonus material!

If just 50 people donated $10, I will hit my goal! Production of the comic is going and will continue, but I need assistance; I partnered with a professional artist to make this comic happen!
