Danny sits and looks at him. He’s still wearing his domino mask, but the gas mask he had been wearing in the lab was gone. His hands are covered in gauze and bandages, his arms all scraped up, but his face is still as aristocratic and serene as always.

“You know,” He says, after a minute, “Princeton is only an hour’s drive.”

“Yeah, it’ll make it pretty easy for you to help out with the ghost stuff when we need you.”

“And, you know.” Danny says. “You could come out, if you wanted.”

Tim rolls his lower lip between his teeth. “I didn’t think you’d want me to. It’s your life, now. You don’t need me for it.”

“Well, I didn’t think you’d want it.” Danny says.

“But you do?” Tim asks, turning to look at him, and Danny can’t look away. “I thought that ‘want didn’t have much to do with it.’”

“You know, this time, I think want actually has everything to do with it."

So little life update for y'all in the form of a storytime...

In april I was getting sick of my job and the corporate restructuring that was putting so much extra work on me and a new boss who was sterilizing our workplace from any fun and just causing a muck. So after a tough meeting I went in a spite filled rage and applied to a master's program. Problem was, that I had only a week to get all my requirements together so I was frantically emailing old profs and wrote a letter of intent literally so FAST. And got everything in on the last day possible on the 30th.

Then I get an interview for a week later on my BIRTHDAY!!! So I'm spending a week trying to relearn math (so hard cause it has been a loooong time) (Also at this point I have told LITERALLY NO ONE BUT MY FAMILY and it is very hard to try and cover up why you are now spontaneously learning math) and I go and pretty much flunk it. Or so I thought!! Cause a couple weeks later I get an email with my acceptance!! And now it hits that I have 2 weeks until the program's start date and I now have to 1. Quit my job. 2. Tell everyone I know. and 3. Pack up all my belongings and move across the entire country.... (also in the midst of this I was buying a new car so that had to be finished asap too)

So anyways here I am with the most chaotic 2 weeks of my life spent bouncing between finding an apartment, trying to narrow down a wardrobe that got way too full after working in clothing retail the past 3 years, still finishing my work shifts and writing down all my notes for the new manager so there would be a smooth transition, and yes, hanging out with everyone as much as humanly possible.

Needless to say but I somehow managed pretty well and am now an east coast girly (which is crazy different already from being landlocked in the west.) Buuut although I'm only 2 weeks into my program there's already so much work and extracurriculars that sadly art will have to be on my backburner for now :-(

I am hoping to at least post the half finished art I've got and I've got some full dp illustrations from zines I haven't put up yet, and maybe do more life updates here, but if you notice me not posting for a while at least you know why <3

37th lineart for this year's @green-with-envy-phandom-event! 

Daniii! But, uh, there seems to be something a little different going on? Experimental illustration, with the aim of both using one of the color palettes available this week for the challenge and drawing in inverted colors through traditional medium.

This is a collaboration: lineart by @marzfartz and color by Mimma (because this year the artist duo Furiarossa&Mimma is split in half! We'll be competing against each other, in two different teams... but still, all the stuff will be posted on the same Tumblr account, or Patreon, or wherever you follow us)

And here's a new feature! Since we're working on a card game, and we want to give all the other participants (and spectators of this event) a fun "demo", we've decided that each of the completed illustrations will be used to make a "Let's Play! Overlord" card.

All the cards will then be collected at the end in a pdf file and will be freely available to everyone, becoming a print-to-play game that we hope will be fun, and that will include easter eggs and other little treats, but will also be perfectly playable within the main game.
