Here's another design, also available in my shops! As usual, there's slightly different selections in each store so be sure to check all three to hopefully find exactly what you want. I just wanted to do a fun, cute little pattern to help me through a bit of a creative block and this was the result. Emoji Pumpkins! The colors are a little more vibrant than this, for some reason it drained a bit on upload. I have more designs waiting to be finished as well, this time of year is my favorite inspiration. :) Shop links in my bio!

Another pattern is up in my shops (along with a couple of others I snuck in before that aren't patterns)! This design features prehistoric sea creatures, and is available on a bunch of products. This design is especially fun for ocean/marine life lovers, and I think also makes for neat bathroom decor depending on the product. Creature names will be in the tags!
Please check my bio for store links! :)

Thank You + Shops Update
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hi everyone! I am so grateful for all the love my pattern designs have received on here. Making them was a lot of fun and it means so much to see other people enjoying them too! It has really been so motivating to see and I really appreciate every like, reblog, and interaction. I'll continue to share my designs here as well going forward.
I have also added a third shop to my online store options so please read for some info on that topic! Originally I was selling the designs through Redbubble and TeeSpring, but after some digging around I found that Society6 offers some different products that I felt would also be fun options to have. So I decided to open a store there as well, for only my pattern designs and also have them available on products that aren't available on the other stores. So to break it down I have:
Redbubble | TeeSpring | Society6
The links to each shop are in my bio, and please feel free to message me with any questions, concerns, suggestions, etc you may have!
EDIT: Added the designs on products that are on the other sites as well, just in case anyone has a preference of where to order from the options are there! :)

Introducing some new designs to kick off the upcoming fall/spooky season (my absolute favorite)! These leggy little friends are called Fresno Nightcrawlers, and they are cryptids that are essentially legs with faces. I figured they would be fun subjects to kick off a fall/Halloween themed collection, so here they are! These are available in my online shops, links in my bio! They are available as individual designs on Redbubble & TeeSpring, Society6 has only the pattern version. As always, feel free to message me with any questions or concerns! :)

Reblogging from my main blog! :)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here is the second pattern, featuring herbivores! I will put all their names in the tags. Also, I have opened up a Redbubble and a TeeSpring! Currently, only this and the carnivore pattern are available on products but I am planning to expand on the available designs. For now though there are a ton of options to get these designs on, so please check out the stores if you are interested! I had to repost this because it wasn't showing up in the search because it had links in it, so please check my bio for links to the shops! If you have any issues or anything in general, please message me! :)

A little personal project I just finished up, a dinosaur pattern featuring some of my favorite carnivores! I want to use this to put on merchandise as well, but wanted to share it first. Also posted it on my Instagram if you follow me there (@kbmasquerade). :) (Colors came out a little more muted on the Insta post for some reason!)

I did this little project for the library I work at to put in a “Staff Creations” display. Just a little lemur reading a book. :)

These are text free versions of Illustrations I did for @introvertunites. They are inspired by another image that has been circulating the internet for a few years, but is never sourced with an artist. You can find it here: http://iwastesomuchtime.com/73015 or on other image sharing sites like Pinterest where it has been reposted many times. If anyone is able to find the original artist, please let me know and I can pass their name along!

I’ve had serious art block for a while now due to a lot of personal issues going on. So, I decided to do a quick warm up drawing of Alolan Ninetales! Ninetales is my favorite Pokemon and I love what they’ve done with the Alolan variant.

This is a very rough preview of a piece I’m working on now, bringing back my focus on Wendigos. Eventually I’m planning to draw other Cryptids in a sort of creepy/cute style like this little guy but I have to kick things off with a Wendigo! I have since started rendering him and made a decent amount of progress but I think the sketch came out pretty neat so I wanted to show it to you guys before the final product! It also shows a bit of my process, as I typically start with a pencil sketch that is then scanned in and painted in Photoshop.

This is a banner image I was commissioned to make for a campaign to spread awareness of sexual harassment in the LARP community. I myself am not a LARPer but I am the Graphic Designer for this campaign because it is a great cause without a doubt! The “White Variant” is to be featured on the website, but I was commissioned to make other variants and one is shown above as well. There will be more art for this coming eventually as I am being commissioned to do a few more pieces featuring this little dove with the ribbon.
This was done in Illustrator after uploading a traditional sketch. The website has not been launched yet, but with permission of the founder she is letting me showcase my work for my portfolio. This is a preview of the idea behind “Clarify: The Line” and the work I will be doing for the campaign. :)

Squishable Wendigo!! He made it into this round of Open Squish voting!
So I decided to give the Open Squish contest another go and came up with this little guy! I have always found cryptids really interesting and Wendigos were one story I actually grew up with so they are among my favorite cryptids. I am really excited that he made it into voting, and he is in the current round! The round ends on April 22nd, so if you get the chance to vote and wanna see this guy made into a real life plushie to hug and love, it would mean a lot to me!
He needs a minimum score of 4.15 to be considered for creation, so giving him 4 or 5s would be a huge help if you are interested in the design! :)

Two page spread done for my book illustration class when I was in school. I finally got around to getting a good shot of it, as it is too big to fit in my scanner at home. The story being illustrated is “Where Once There Was a Wood” by Denise Fleming. It is painted fully in gouache, my favorite paint!

Just finished this up! It is a spot Illustration of two of original characters, Euphemia (girl) and Monaxia (minotaur). I’ve been trying out new style recently and this was a lot of fun. I imagine this is when these two first meet, as Mona is naked and Euphie has no shoes. There is a whole story in my head about these guys, someday I hope to share it!
