So I'm not much of a player of any instrument, but I am a decent builder, and I'm SO down for helping out on the equipment. Maybe variations on this bAce, in bass and guitar variants...

Could probably even manage a custom drum set, too, either acoustic or either a full electronic or acoustic/electronic hybrid. Been known to build both...

we should get a trans punk band together omfg
dude i swear its on my bucket list just give me a sec to learn how to vocal fry and then we’ll get to work

Stanley Clarke. Hopefully, you'll play it better than I did, IRL. (Shouldn't be that hard, honestly, I'm pretty lousy!)
Yestersay I had a dream I was hanging out with Olli and playing his bass guitar (which actually made me play my dad's bass secretly a little😅)
Today I dreamt I was with Vic trying to play her bass.
Who's next?👁👄👁

You're welcome, though in all honesty, I'm not much of a guitarist/bassist, but I am apparently a moderately decent builder!

Very nice set of matching Fender-style instruments! I'm a certified bass guitar nut, personally. In case it interests you, I happen to have an example of some of the coolness you can do to a Precision bass like that, if you ever get a mind to mod it.

This bass started its life looking pretty much exactly like yours, but I routed out pockets for a couple of Fender-style humbucker pickups, did some ridiculously complex wiring, and made a new pickguard for it. The unusual part on this one is that it's got 3 pickups, but has a 2 volume, 2 tone control layout, plus a bunch of switching.

The two outer switches select which pickup(s) the corresponding volume/tone knob set controls, similar to the switch on your guitar, while the inner switches select between north single coil / humbucker / south single coil mode operation for the two humbuckers. You can then set either the neck or bridge pots to control either the respective humbucker, the Precision pickup, or both. And then on top of that, the first three knobs have phase reversal on push-pull, and the last has a master mute. I can totally relate to the whole stopped playing thing, though. I started playing about 30 years ago, but most of my attention went into building things, rather than playing. On the positive side, I have built some really cool stuff, I just suck at playing any of it!

...except the speakers, of course... I ROCK at playing the work of actually talented musicans on the speakers!
Any bass/guitar pics/clips?

The guitar is super old. My older sister gave it to me. And the bass I bought. It’s supposed to be a dark blue but it just looks black.
I’m learning how to play both. I used to be great at guitar when I younger but I stopped playing

Welcome to the deep end! (pun intended)
So I've been going through some of my writing and it looks like I didn't not know what a bad guitar was. Until recently. As in like February 2021 be still did not know what a bass guitar was. This is a formal apology.
