So Today...

I went for some ice-cream and cooked myself a pizza. It tasted ok. I followed the recipe as best as I could, but cooking is very difficult for me. Can’t really say with certainty that I will improve in the future, but hey, I’m only human.  Not a lot of interesting stuff to say today. I blocked that weird Reddit account I mentioned in the last post. The spam was getting impossible to deal with. Now I can use it for its intended purpose: to look at bad memes and strangers fighting each other in comment threads.

Honestly, not excited for tomorrow at all. I hate having to leave my house to go to work. If it didn’t pay so well, I would leave the job in a flash. The weekends are like a safe haven from all the bullshit I have to deal with during the week. Anyone else feels the same?

This Week Sucked

So I decided to set up a Tumblr account just to rant about all the garbage that I need to deal with on a daily basis. After all, who doesn’t LOVE listening to some whining coming from a stranger on the internet?

This time, worked SUCKED. I had to deal with three major things this week in work: 1. I got yelled at over the little progress I‘ve had on project for the network. They were pissed, even threatening to demote me. It’s not my damn fault that they assigned David, my awful coworker, to help me! He’s a lazy S.O.B who would rather sit on his ass all day than help me for at least five minutes. I’m over here thinking: “Are you really surprised that I wasn't able to finish when you give me DAVID?!!??”.  The man is lucky he’s the nephew of a person in the board.

2. I went to Barbara (my boss) and she also made me eat shit. something about the servers not working well and it being my fault (because everything always is).  Whenever some intern spills a cup of coffee (trust me, this has happened before multiple times) or some developer inexplicably forgets how to maintain the servers, guess who’s the one that bites it? It’s not like I haven’t sent emails listing the reasons we need better protocols as to make this issue nearly nonexistent.

3. Some creepy Reddit account has started constantly DMing me out of nowhere and it won’t stop. It keeps spamming messages with some random shit. It’s nonsensical, but there seems to be the running motif of knights(?). Checked the account to make sure it wasn’t a broken bot or something similar, but it doesn’t seem like it. The account has no comments, no posts and no profile pic (Tho, it has a weird banner with some misshapen letters). As far as I know, I could be the only it’s sending messages to. If it gets too irritating to deal with, I’ll just block the account.
