we had a snowtorm yesterday, so i made a chocolate cake, read and watched Poor Things with my love.

I want to live a beautiful life.

Our new apartment is slowly coming together and it’s starting to feel like home. We are taking the time to decide on what big piece of furniture we’re buying first, both me and josh want to find pieces that are more unique and that are more timeless and durable. Our ultimate goal is to make our home cozy, beautiful and warm.

I. and II. Josh and I spent the day at the Mount Rainier National Park, one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. We were walking in the middle of the river, watching the running water change and catching rocks.

I spent most of last year off social media so I am just now sharing some of the pictures from 2021 and from life in washington. there were always so much to see and going downtown to eat fresh piroshkies and walk around pike market was one of my favorite things.

writing is about finding your own rules, your own pace and identity. I have learned that spending too much time worrying about following the right rules and methods is just wrong. There is not a right way of doing things when it comes to writing because it is a very personal craft. my most valuable piece of advice when it comes to writing is: don’t follow any advice (including this one).

I like to say that our little stay in Washington was an interesting experience. A wet and green paradise where we were hoping to find our forever home. After almost a year living there we made the decision to leave but I couldn’t be more grateful for the time we spent in this beautiful state that surprised us in so many ways. 

I will forever be missing the trees, the beautiful houses by the lake, the view from our apartment and all the wonderful friends I made in Washington. 💚🌲🌧

I don’t remember when I took this picture and I can barely remember my old room but in this image I can still find the details and small things that remain fresh in my mind. how the room was always bathed by sunlight and how my little desk was always a mess, the books and the owl that used to wake me up at 5 in the morning every day...
