I can’t say death by Kate G. 🥀
Coming to terms with… what should I call it? I can’t say death. the loss… of my health. If it was loss you could understand, you wouldn’t try to cheer me up, You say I paint the devil on the walls, can you not see him, dancing on my shoulder, pang after pang of pain in each step? “It could get better.” Can I come back to life? I can’t say death Let me accept it.

Intro (again)
Hi!
I started this writeblr about a month ago, and I wasn’t sure that I’d actually follow through on it! So I’m remaking my introduction post with more detail in the hopes that people will reblog it/comment on it/like it/whatever so that I can follow them and they can (hopefully) follow me.
So my name is Hayley (she/her/hers). I’m a 19 year old queer electrical engineering student in the western USA. I have a wide range of interests, and while I love my engineering studies, I am also very passionate about learning foreign languages (currently Spanish and German), reading, and of course, writing. My main blog is @magykaldealings, and this is just a secondary blog, so when I follow you back it will be through that account.
I don’t have a big WIP yet, as my multiple attempts at writing novels have all fallen through. I have ideas! It’s just that I don’t feel like my writing skills are at the level to attempt a novel and my motivation is much more reliable if I’m writing shorter fiction that only takes a 1-3 writing sessions to complete. That’s mainly what I’ll post on my writeblr, along with writing prompts, inspiration, and whatever else I find that I think may be relevant to a writing blog.
I started writing at a young age. Somewhere I still have my first stories tucked in journals, with creative titles like “The Adventures of Cara” and poorly drawn dragons for cover art. None of my early stories ever progressed past the first couple of chapters. As I got older, my confidence decreased and I wrote less and less, though I was always daydreaming up stories to write. I started writing again in the summer of 2018, where writing poems provided cathartic release from the very stressful job of girl scout camp counselor. Now I’m trying to write more fiction regularly, and this writeblr has been helping me with feeling like an actual writer instead of someone who just thinks about writing.
Please follow or at least reblog and I’ll follow you back (with my @magykaldealings account)! I’m trying to get more involved in the writeblr community.

If I have learned one thing in life it is this: Love does not come softly. It comes like thunder. Like, calm, meet storm. If you really want to find love, you must be ready for the rain.
