Rodney is also brave, caring and a genius at well basically everything.

season 2 really gives us the parallel of epiphany, in which rodney doesn't stop moving not even to breathe until he's saved john, and grace under pressure, in which john doesn't stop moving not even to breathe until he's saved rodney.

and then season 4 gives us doppelganger, john's whole world comes crashing down when he thinks he's killed rodney, and midway, rodney's whole world freezes when he thinks he's killed john.

this is nothing i'm sure.

hello, possible longshot here but i'm getting back into mcshep after a several-years absence and i am STRUGGLING to find a particular fic i remember reading and really liking:

iirc, john os not art of the sgc and is home and an 'alien'(?), rodney, crash lands into his backyard or beams into his house, and rodney starts taking apart all john's electronics to fix his tech. i think there was also a kidnapping scene near the end, and by the end, john gets invited to the sgc or something of that nature.

i've tried searching all the potential keywords i might have remembered from the summary without success. help me obi-mcshep, you're my only hope 🙏

I seem to recall one by Brumeier or Nagi_schwarz like that, but I can't find a link.

Anyone able to help them out??
