The daughter of Iosif, and sister to Alin.

While rather smart, with a knack for scientific topics and archaeology, Raluca also struggles with focussing. Braiding yarn greatly helps her with that.

Many years she spent away from home, by the coast, for a particular reason.

During this time, she seems to have developed an obsession with taking risks and the thrill of winning, often at the cost of her own self-preservation. Or rather, in other words: She became a gambler. Luckily she is quite good at it, after all, it is only a gambling addiction if you are losing.

Now that she has returned from the coast, she has a specific goal- Or rather, a list of them. A bucket list that she wishes to complete as soon as possible.

One of those goals is to discover the truth behind an ancient legend, that may or may not be connected to the fact that the world seems to be ending.

How good that she has her dear brother to help her with this!

Raluca loves to learn and discover new things, so naturally she gravitates to investigative detective work. She might seem nosy at times, which she would object to: She would greatly prefer to be seen as a villainous mad scientist- despite also refusing to cause anyone any harm. Other than disrespecting their right to privacy.

Detecive work can be quite interesting, especially when it leads to learning about a whole bunch of rumors about ones acquaintance one has not seen in years.

Due to his shyer personality, and even more so the fact that his tendency to self-isolate made him extremely out of touch with other human beings, Ralucas brother tends to hide behind her and rely on her "light".

Another of her goals is to help him unlearn this behaviour and become more confident- Although her methods might additionally serve the purpose of amusing her personally.

May I introduce to you:

Iosif, formerly known as the Heart of the Mountain, with a fascination for Wine and a knack for handicraft, as well as a father of two.

It might have been a matter of unexpected coincidences, and quite unfortunate ones at that, but regardless of how they have found each other- Iosif is content that he got the opportunity to watch them grow up.

You might wonder- Melc, Melc, why did you coincidentally name the first character you ever tried drawing with muscles; Iosif?

Why why, dear friend, the answer might surprise you.

Deciding to read Jojos Bizarre Adventure on a whim sure seems to have had unforeseen consequences

Working on a Reference Sheet, so I wanted to simply practice drawing faces-

And that escalated a bit.

Happy with the result, although I do think that I still failed at the mission itself.

The leaves on the Tree Branch are intended to be those of the Aspen, Populus Tremula!

The Flower, a Lily of the Valley, is very cool in terms of flower language and symbolism.

Went to the doctor today to get a my Immunisation against Tick-borne encephalitis refreshed!

I had to spend a lot of time in the Waiting Room, so I sketched something for that occasion.

Looking forward to my Botany practice lessons, now that I have slightly less to worry about there!

Today, I bring you-

A Prunus Domestica!

Plums are my favourite kind of fruit, so I had fun with this one!

Did you know that the country with the second highest "production" rate of this fruit is Romania? It is true! You can make excellent Schnaps out of plums!

I tried out a new Brush for this one, and I really love the look of it!

Speaking of Looks...

Wouldn't it be fun and cool if a Plum was able to take a Look at YOU?

Frauke loves watching things that move, so her stare usually stays fixated on you.

If that makes you uncomfortable, you can circumvent that by simply turning her around. She might get upset about that, but she has no mouth so she can't scream complain!

I continued on my funky journey to figure out how Painting works!

Similar to yesterday, I attempted to mimic a Fruit, and this time, a Pear, a Pyrus Communis!

More specifically, I looked at the Abate Fetel variety for reference, as that is my favourite one!

Although, I felt like the Pear was in desperate need of a passionate hobby it could do, to avoid boredom while waiting to be consumed-

And isn't Opera Singing quite fun to do?

Today, I attempted to learn how to paint (digitally), and did so by trying to do an Apple!

It could have been better, of course, but I am actually kinda happy with it regardless, and shall try to continue to improve in future attempts.

I decided to then bless this wondrous Malus with the gift of Eyes, so he may be able to see this World.

Although, I think he might not quite like what he sees.

He shall be known as Kalle.

My attempt at a small drawing challenge, based on the following image:

The OC I chose is called "Alin", he is a very average concept for a normal human protagonist.

The mask I drew myself wearing I do not own, but it is based on the skull of a "Myotis Myotis", a greater Mouse-Eared bat! They are home in many areas of europe, are insectivorous, and absolute cuties.

PSA: Just a reminder that while Birds enjoy eating bread, it is very unhealthy for them. Do not feed birds bread! And it is better to not feed wild birds at all.

Today, I bought a 180 centimetres tall bamboo sticks to support my stupid Nepenthes Ventrata - the same depicted in my profile picture, but she has grown a little bit since then, so much that she cannot support her own weight anymore.

How dumb of her!

Travelling in public transport with such a tall stick was kind of hilarious.

I wished to practice the Deponia Artstyle more, and got told that Hatsune Miku is a cool and neat subject to practice on- So I did! And it was incredibly fun :3

Every week, I attend a Drawing Meetup at my dorm, where I try to practice my abilities in traditional art.

Yesterday, they were playing a playlist with Romantic Swing Music, so I felt inspired to attempt drawing something more, well, "romantic".

Actually flabbergasted with how tolerable the anatomy and the skeleton turned out. Guess I did get a bit better with drawing by reference.

The Character next to the skeleton is one of the characters of my itty bitty creative project, his name is Miorel and he is very Okay™ and Functional™.

I found the Reference on Pinterest, but sadly didn't find any source further than that, even through reverse image searches (unless I just suck at using those)

The Pin mentions a nath.smith on flickr, but on their profile I cannot find this image anymore.

Inazuma Eleven OC!

I saw a post about how, instead of creating self inserts for the purpose of shipping them with a canon character, one could also make a self insert for the purpose of having them kill a canon character- So I felt inspired to create an Inazuma Eleven OC based on that.

Meet Ileana Sonnentau, a trained Physician who is going to help out the Team as a Fitness and Conditioning Coach, Nutritionist and Chef, as well as a Physiotherapist, to insure that each player can improve their talents and abilities in the most optimal and healthy way, as well as treat any injuries that might befall them.

She is from Europe, but refuses to specify from where, and her name might or might not be fake.

The idea is that she is asked to help out the Raimon Eleven during the events of Season 2, to ensure the teams optimal health while they fight the Aliea Academy.

Eventually she learns of Kageyama and his crimes- and makes it her lifes mission to deck the guy.
