Memoirs of The Guardian
11 posts
The one who sought to kindle a great light in the world, who sets up blazing torches in the dark streets of life for men to see by. In our world of big names, our true heroes tend to be anonymous. I tell the story of a good friend -an expatriate, a voluntary cop in a 3rd world country. A person of solid virtues.

After reading this story I am seeing comments, burning like wild fire and they are all disputes over things that have nothing to do with this matter. These attacks are not about western or eastern ways, they are not about freedom and rights, or about royalties. They are sick and disgusting crimes committed by people that use religion as an excuse to carry them out, killing not just foreigners but their own people. If you think the leaders of these terrorist groups are not motivated by greed then you are part of the problem. You never see the leaders taking the risks, or leading the way for suicide attacks. Instead they manipulate and make false promises in order to convince others to commit them. Both West and East are filled with corruption and greed and people that are prepared to abuse and mistreat others in order to get ahead. The civilians of both east and west fall victim to the wrongs of governments, criminals, corruption and now they are falling victim to murderous attacks by self proclaimed "freedom fighters". If such people were truly fighting for freedom they have failed, because all this achieves is greater fear and increased restrictions on freedom. If they were truly fighting for "god" they have failed the very moment they started murdering the innocent which is highly condemned in just about every religion in the world that isn't satanic. If they were fighting for "peace" they have failed because all they are doing is creating hatred and greater division between the people. I personally don't care about flags and divisions, or what religion people choose to follow. I have respect for all that respect the rights of others. I also believe that large governments should support the people not the corruption which quite regularly they do just to get what they want. I am honest not ignorant. But I am fed up with these disgusting crimes and I am baffled how so many people can be convinced to commit such things.Lastly I am sorry for all the victims, and by victims I don't just mean those who lost their lives, but the families who have to bury them, the kids that have to grow up without them, the parents who have to spend a life mourning them, the people who lost their livelihood, and the men that did their best to defend and save the lives lost and will spend their life thinking what if they had done it better.I see these situations as a reason for the divided to unite. Countries to Countries, East to West, Religion to Religion, Rich and Poor to work together to end this madness of such groups because we are all victims.May all the innocent people who lost their lives rest in peace and may the rest of us work together to make sure that these so called "terrorists groups" don't.  TG
