Why is Maria Nikolaevna your favourite out of Otma?

Tbh Imperial-Russia puts it perfectly:

She is generally the most forgotten of Otma, Olga is known for her intelligence, Tatiana for her beauty and sometimes (if they know enough about Otma) for her nursing, and Anastasia for being a jokester and the (proven wrong) myth of her escaping. If Maria is noted for anything at all then it’s simply ‘She was the flirty one’ (even though Olga was far more boy-crazy then Maria, she would look at boys through her field goggles “Saw my S. through the fieldglass, N.P. too.”)

I just wanted to say I love OTMA too! I am obsessed with creating historical sims and I love that period. If I have to pick a favorite Grand Duchess it would have to be Maria or Tatiana. I also thought you might be interested in these photo albums on Yale's website I found featuring rare photos of the royal family. There are 6 albums with hundreds of photos. I LOVE looking at them but I can't include the link. Please let me know if you want me to send it to you! :)

Thank you for this ask! My favourite is defo Maria (although Tatiana is a close second). I’ve been interested in them for a couple of years so I’ve used the albums a few times. Atm I think in my collection (on my mac) I’ve got thousands of pictures of them (quite a lot of them from Otma’s old albums). I’m sorry if anyone is getting sick of the modern sims, I just haven’t had the time (or drive) to play sims at all recently! Currently all the sim pictures I have (and are posting) are from the last time I played sims. Once they run out, I’ll try to start playing my normal families again :)

Sorry I’ve been gone for so long! I’m hoping to start posting regularly soon. Today I went on the sims for the first time in ages and played with these two cuties. I usually always play with historical sims, but I thought I’d try a few things out with one of my only modern day families.

Introducing Mason and Daniella (Dani) Porter (she was originally Penny Pizzazz but I didn’t want to change her traits or move out of her apartment so lets pretend that their sisters of something).

I’m attempting to have as many children as I can with Dani (like the 100 baby challenge, but different).

like listen uhh not to be like. a human with empathy who thinks things through but wasn’t lana like “i’m now free from this heavy load” like uh. if they were referring to the whole situation where their blog is flagged then @ the staff til your fingers fall off sure but if they were talking about the running of the blog itself?? why are y’all rallying for tumblr to fix anything?? you want someone to feel burdened & unhappy so you can boost/find cc? like damn i sure hope they meant it the first way bc if they didn’t then all this is just. evil
