What Music Streaming Service do you use?
Spotify - For Linux
Spotify is a Music streaming Service that provides over 15 million tracks to its users. The main issue is that you MUST have a Facebook Account in order to use Spotify.
Spotify comes in 3 packages
Spotify Free (Costs absolutely nothing- But consists of annoying ads)
Spotify Premium ($4.99 a Month)
Spotify Unlimited ($9.99 a Month)
Money isn't a problem, the service's prices aren't very high at all. But what are you really getting?
Take a look at this chart below which compares the prices and differences between subscriptions
Here are some Personal Comments on Spotify from public users
Dries Says-
The requirement of having a Facebook account is ridiculous. A notable portion of the population is not interested in 'getting connected'. If Spotify runs a healthy business based on this advertisement model, it makes absolutely no sense from a business-standpoint to exclude so many people from their service.
Paul Says-
"Spotify Free users will see in-app advertisments
and hear a sponsor messages of around 30 seconds in length played back
at indeterminate intervals between tracks. Be warned that these can be
super obnoxious."
The reason I use Grooveshark
Dr. Mclaser says-
I don't see the point in use spotify over grooveshark unless maybe you are a paying customer.
Grooveshark has more music than spotify + you don't need to install a client + no "radio" ads in the free version
And without being completely sure I do think grooveshark has a paid version too with some smartphone features and no ads of course!
Now Onto Grooveshark
Grooveshark is also a music streaming service, But with less of a hassle. You don't have to worry about compatibility issues, Support in certain countries, or any of that junk. As long as you have a web browser you have Grooveshark. WITHOUT the need for a Facebook account.
Features of Grooveshark
Access on any device with an internet connection and flash
The lack of annoying sponser advertisements
Grooveshark offers more music than Spotify (Over 15 Million songs)
No need for a client, Grooveshark is all online, Making it available for Windows, Mac, Linux and any other system with an internet browser
Grooveshark supports Jailbroken iPhones Only
Along with Blackberry, Nokia, WebOS,and Android
Grooveshark paid members get access to "Grooveshark Desktop"
So there you have it, Which Music Streaming Service are you going to pick?
http://www.spotify.com - Spotify
Or

Mac OS X Mountain Lion 10.8
So for those of you who happen to own a Mac, whether it be a laptop or a desktop are up for a bit of a surprise. If you also own an iOS device like iPad, iPod Touch, or iPhone this really applies to you. Apple actually doesn't refer to theirs Mac OS X as Mac OS X any more. It's just OS X now. But anyway what the heck is Mountain Lion 10.8?
Well it's the next version of Lion (10.7). If you did upgrade to lion when it came out a while ago then your really going to want to upgrade to Mountain lion now. With 10.8 all of the standard features within an iPad or iOS device are re-imagined for the Mac. You can view your notifications, notes, anything of the sort. Check out the video below to get a peek at Mountain Lion. The upgrade will most likely cost around 30 bucks from the apple store (The same as lion did). But it's really worth it. Mountain is planned to be released this summer

HP Touchpad (Guest post)
Its has been a month I've been lugging my HP TouchPad which I pulled off ebay for thrice the price at the fire sale, but i can tell you one thing, I'm loving it till now. Sure there has been nags and the device is full of it's share of glitches, but hey, this was never in competition with iPad altogether for me. iPad is by far a more better device than this one. The reason I bought device is that this will go as one of the most novel thing down the history. Not in terms of hardware, but software. The WebOS is by far the most
favourable and fun to use OS made for tablet, until Windows 8 comes and takes away the competition, but $400 has proved a worthwhile investment till now. Not to say that I'll switch to Windows 8 eventually, I may, but this thing is built to last.
And the biggest news in the month of December was when HP announced WebOS to be open sourced, and I can't imagine the possibilities of what one can do with such an awesome platform! Making it open source just opened a whole new dimension of progresses to be made. Much, much more  apps, frequent and better tested updates to start with, and who knows, the OS may see another morning with wide adoption in the mainstream users and not just hobbyists or people looking for alternative to Android or iOS for that matter. The possibilities are infinite, we just have to pass the baton into the right hands.

5 Reasons to switch to ubuntu?
5 Reasons Why You Might Want to Switch From Windows To Ubuntu
A lot of computer users like to stay in their comfort zone. They feel that they don’t need anything else but windows. They might feel  somewhat uneasy about switching operating systems. But when you really shine a light on the whole process of installing a New operating system, it’s not to difficult or scary at all.
Well what’s Ubuntu and how do i get it?
Ubuntu is an entire computer system. It’s what allows your computer to browse the Internet, to watch a movie, or to play a game.
Installing Ubuntu on your assumed windows computer isn’t to much of a hefty task. There are 3 ways to install it.
1. Download the Ubuntu Disk Image (.iso) and burn it to a CD
2. Download the Ubuntu Disk Image (.iso) and install it onto a Flash Drive, then change your computers start up setting (bios) to load from that Flash drive and then follow the Ubuntu installation instructions.
3. Download the Ubuntu Windows Installer (.exe), Run it and basically hit install, Then wait for it to finish and restart your computer. After you restart the computer you will be greeted by a menu that asks you whether you want to boot into Windows or Ubuntu. This is the easiest and safest method, because it does not remove your windows installation. It allows you to have both Ubuntu and Windows at the same time. It’s referred to as “Dual Booting”.
But are the real reasons why i should make the switch?
1. Speed. Ubuntu is incredibly fast and responsive. If you get easily annoyed by those “Not Responding” messages in windows you would be happy to know that, that just about never happens on Ubuntu. Ubuntu takes from 5-10 seconds to boot.
Ubuntu has a really snappy feel to it that most people just love.
2. Security. Ubuntu doesn’t allow programs to sneak into your system files without you knowing. In order to install an application on Ubuntu you have to type your password in. This knocks viruses out of the question. I can guarantee you won’t get a virus on Ubuntu. There really are none. I’ve never heard of anyone getting one and i’m sure you won’t be the first to get one. 100% Safe
3.  Easy. Ubuntu makes install software pretty painless. There is a Software Center/Store where you can install anything that you would possibly need. No more going on Google and searching for random programs. Ubuntu saves the day yet again.
4. Free Upgrades for Life! Ubuntu always has a new version come out every 6 months. You will never pay for the newest Ubuntu it’s all free. With every new release new amazing features and bug fixes come out.
5. Customization.  On Ubuntu you can customize everything. Literally. The boot screen, the menus, panels, window borders, docks whatever you have. Your not restricted to change things.

The significance of this photo? Really nothing. It just looks cool. Things don't always need to have a specific meaning for them to be wanted or redeemed useful.
