Shop Update

I had the absolute honor to paint for @kiwitchingaway again, and this time, of a close friend in spirit! This was one of my favorite paintings to work on (I may be a little biased toward purples), as this entity felt so ancient and celestial... It was really quite humbling to work with her.

Hello! For the art readings, would the portrait of our higher self be different than our astral form? Or could they be the same? Thank you!

Hello, lovely!

I never really gave that much thought before, but I would say yes, with a possibility of them being the same. Since I haven’t worked in the astral, I can’t really speak from experience. My higher self portraits are an interpretation of energy I receive, whether intuitively or visually (clairvoyance), so while I think it’s unlikely that I’m going to paint a spot-on copy of someone’s astral form, I’m not ruling it out entirely!

That sounds like an intriguing idea for an art reading, though...

I don’t work with Apollo regularly, but he strikes me as the type of deity who would be even better suited for the fall and winter.

so many people say apollo’s presence fades during fall and winter. but not for me and I don’t know why. he wasn’t there at all when it was the hottest in summer this year—he didn’t like it one bit and just left. i feel like he returns for fall, he’s been closest to me in snowstorms and dark evenings of rain. he’s so much more than just connected to the sun, though, which is maybe why he actually seems closer to me during these months than when it’s burning hot.

so don’t think you should stop honoring him or working with him, or that it’s weird to stay around him during the darker colder months. seriously, he is so much more than that, and if you feel the wish to stay around, do so

the magician - am I balancing parts of my life? am I focusing too much on the material world before me? am I properly utilizing the tools I have at my disposal?

the high priestess - am I trusting my intuition? am I allowing my imagination to roam free? have I grown out of touch with my spirituality? how may I further enhance my spirituality? 

the empress - how do I nurture others? do I, in turn, properly nurture myself? how do I express my feminine power? am I expressing myself creatively? 

the emperor - how am I handling authority in my life? how can I become a leader? am I taking strides to ensure material success? how do I express my masculine power?
