This file was a BEAST (no pun intended) to work with. Wanted to make sure it would look good when printed, so I worked with such a high DPI. My PC will never be the same. 💀

Pyotr (also sometimes known as "Peter"). Similar thing to the Milena drawings. I remember originally struggling with his hair, and then when I revisited this file the hair was easy. It was his BEARD I had to learn how to draw.

He's Milena's ex and Andrew's father. Scandalous.

I guess to explain why I drew him and Milena as their older and younger selves, the "present" of Cohabitation takes place while Hunter and Andrew are already living with each other. They're adults, and so their parents are older. However, I also plan on featuring a lot of flashbacks, many of which take place before they're even born. I plan on going in depth with Milena and Pyotr's relationship, much of which occurs in their late 30s and early 40s.

I also don't know how to draw older people, but I started these in the spring, and I was happy enough with them to finish them up and post them. Her design is still a WIP. I don't draw her nearly as much as I should.

Some provisional refs I made for Andrew and Hunter. I plan on making more comprehensive refs with outfits and such, but I needed smth to pull colors from.

These actually started as a redraw of Andrew I was working on, because I tried this with him last summer and was very unsatisfied with it. I just decided to add Hunter so I could practice drawing a plus-sized character and a skinnier character. I probably didn't do too well, but I will continue to try. :)

Also a friend of mine thought Andrew's body hair was blood. 💀

(There's nothing really mature about this, but I marked it just in case due to partial nudity. I personally don't believe in censoring non-sexual nudity (at least of people's chests) period, but I'm gonna be a jerk about it and label masc-presenting toplessness as well as femme-presenting.)

I started an angel AU for my Cohab OCs. 😈

Imma let the OG description speak for itself.

I posted this to my Instagram a little while ago and not here, because I planned on doing more with it. I was cleaning this up the other day, however, and honestly I don't think I'll actually do anything with this particular sketch LOL. I do have an AU in mind tho (more on that later). So this is the same PNG I posted to IG. I didn't change much by cleaning it up a little. I think I made it worse actually LMAO. YAPPING AHEAD: So the story behind this is I was listening to Black Hole Sun over... spring break? or something around then in March, and I had a VISION during the outro. Also I think I was looking at angel-related stuff coincidentally, so paired the two together. Anyway, I had the idea for this Cohabitation AU where Hunter is an actual angel. (It's a long story and really sappy, but I pulled this from the context that, canonically, Andrew sees him as an "angel".) He appears to Andrew at different points in his life in the form of a human but cannot be seen by anyone other than Andrew, which drives the latter to the point of obsession. Some little lore I came up with is that one cannot look angels (at least those closest to God) directly in the eye, for it will kill you. I only came up with that, because I like art where humanoid seraphim have the wings covering their eyes, and I thought it'd be cool if there was a reason they did that here. Neat! That's all I'm gonna share with what I've come up with so far. I'm going for a sort of cosmic / religious horror feel. Itches my brain. I am NOT religious nor am I deeply educated on the subject of angels in the Abrahamic religions. I'm also not trying to make a point about religion with this. It's just a story and something that allows me to experiment.

Old WIP of a reference I was making (now completed). I just liked how this sketch looked, because I accidentally made the eye kinda look like it had a slit-shaped pupil. I thought that was neat at the time, but after... months I realized it lowkey makes it look AI-generated. 😭

Haha does anyone remember when this character was just a sidekick to the big evil antagonist of "Wisperia"? No, because I literally never talked about it. 💀

So yeah Nameless - I will not deadname them lmao; if you know, you know - used to be like an evil henchman type of character, and then I realized I liked them a lot more than the other thing. So I just made them the villain instead.

It would take a stupid amount of time and world-building to really explain their background, but all you need to know is that Nameless is the product of corrupted magic.

There was once a mystic, a magic-using spirit of Nainura ("the Dream World"), who lost control of their powers, and they took over and became an entity of their own. This entity became known as "the Corruption" from which shapeshifting beings, simply known as shifters, arose. The most powerful and controlling of which is Nameless.

Nameless' entire aim is to consume everything, to destroy the worlds of the living and dead alike. Mere mortals are no match for their invincible shapeshifting abilities, but the barrier between the living and spirit worlds stops them from eradicating all life in the blink of an eye. Not to mention some animals' stories interest them more than others…

Some technical info on both a writing and illustrative level:

Pronouns are they / it. It doesn't really matter (they have no sense of gender and couldn't care less), but those are the ones I'll refer to them by.

They are not always in the form of a tiger! I was trying to come up with a "default" design, since most of my characters are tigers, but they can appear as quite literally any creature. I have recently drawn and posted them in a status update, for example 😈

Their design is completely symmetrical. No exceptions, save for when they distort and deform (pictured in the bottom left sketch). Only beings from the spirit realm have symmetrical appearances, but it is possible I may make it to where they are they ONLY character with a symmetrical design.

These sketches are from about 2 years ago at this point, but I still like them, and this kinda marks the point where I began to draw in my current style, which I like a lot. 💜💛
