Love it or hate it , Hinata would've been a better option as the female in team7.

You have a steady background story as the heiress of the hyuga . A whole independent storyline of her clan , exploring some powers , having that whole hamura things involved in a better way .. making your female lead have a live and goals other than obsessing over a boy who doesn't love her .

If you want to make her love Sasuke,she could have better option than just crushing over his look . She could've known him before the massacre... So her attachment would be better explained.

You could write her accepting Naruto as a friend and then switching to him as love interest WHILE STILL CARING ABOUT SASUKE AS A FRIEND,and ACTUALLY helping Naruto to get him back .

So the whole thing of " Team7 is a family" would be more believable.

And even if you want to make Naruto the only one still believing in Sasuke. The emotional conflict she'll have would be more deep than what Sakura had ... That girl needed SAI to tell her how things felt for naruto . SAI OF ALL PEOPLE!!!!!

God i could go on and oooon about this but it's such a waste....
