This blog will be more for me to post my miniature paintings, mostly my learning of doing miniature paintings I hope I can post a lot of stuff here. And don't think I'll put any 40k or professional minis, as someone who's just staring I don't see the point of getting these good minis, for now, I'll be just painting cheap plastic toys. If you wish you can donate to my Ko-Fi so I can get new materials and minis ^ (This is a link) ^

I'm back :D
I finally have some space to paint again /o/ And bought some Pokemons bootlegs to mix it up a little bit.
And learned the hard way that varnishing was quite important... so now I will need to repaint my old stuff xP
Also, how do you do circles with a paintbrush???

I'm learning a lot about painting minis, minis like this are quite maddening to paint all the time something gets in the way xP
It looks much better in person, the colors really don't pop in the camera is a bit weird, and forgot to take the before photos...

My camera must think this chimp is Bigfoot because it doesn't want to take a non-blurry photo of its face at all @_@ I don't know why it became blonde when it started to dry I used the same color for the whole body putting just the details later...
Before photos:

Once again my camera refused to focus on their face :I

Saw some weird-looking minis and bought them, but wasn't expecting them to be so low quality @_@"

Well a good time to learn how to use the modeling knife xDD
I'm suspecting they are from Kinnikuman, but because I only watched Ultimate Muscle I don't know if everyone belongs to the series

Really like how the details came out, didn't try to make anything crazy, was quite hard to paint the tiny baby.

Really like how this one turned up, tried to base his colors on Bob from Sunset Riders.

Fun fact this was the first miniature I painted, but because was my first one everything I did was wrong, at the time didn't even knew you could put a base to not touch the primer and painting so as you can imagine it was a mess lol

This dude gave me more headache than necessary, first couldn't make his color work no matter what I did, them it took me six tries to make his eye look right, they still don't but I gave up, did him yesterday but had to do so many fixes only now he is done and still I dislike how he came out, well not everyone is a winner lol

I really liked painting humans even though they are quite hard to do, I also think I used too much brown but was reusing the lion painting that was left :V
Also really started thinking about learning Blender and making my own minis in the future

My first human, I quite liked his skin color, his mustache and eyes were so painful to make, took me 2 hours to finish painting him, I learned a lot making him like I really need to plan colors and he ended up with jeans from the future lol, can't wait to paint another human but will only one per day you need a lot of patience to make it

It was quite hard to make the eyes because I wanted to give her an orange color because lions have these vivid orange scleras, I think it worked, I wish had made her fur a bit darker, a good thing in this set comes with two lionesses even that I'm thinking to make the other one into a jaguar to train making spots.

He wasn't to be so black but thanks to me making a small error and trying to correct it he ended up in this color, a bit sad this mold used horse hooves dromedaries have such funky feet.

Second one I painted, I really liked that painting her lower parts yellow gave it more pop, the spots were quite hard to do but still one of my favorites.
Also forgot to take a before picture... but just imagine her all blue.

Forgot to take a before picture but it looked like this:
Still, the easiest one I painted it has a quite simple design without many places that get hard to get with the brush.
