It’s…uh…new?  I guess you could say I just moved so I’m spending most of my time outside of the house getting lost

I’m also not alone here. Its kind of sad really but there’s a couple faces I’ve seen here that I’ve recognized from old friendships and they helped me get onto my feet thankfully. Though everyone’s very busy with there own needs and such so its nice to have some company tonight

As for exile, you see, I’m a part of a group of machines called magic users.

A good handful of years ago a group of the first few magic users appeared and banded together in sort of a cult. One of the cult members apparently had ill-will towards one of the faction leaders and ended up hurting them very badly. Since then we have been viewed very poorly and usually exiled on find. 

My mother was the one who gave me my soul, which is how I became a magic user, but here’s the real kicker: that hateful leader that was sending all of us off was my father. So that was a fun youth.

God I’m so tired. Everything’s been so loud and fast.

The ice wasn’t ready, It wasn’t thick enough and Spits fell through and went all the way under. We had to rush him to the station and hope there was a medic there. Luckily there was but the cold had already put him in critical condition. They had to tear his lips apart and they just finished chipping the ice off his feet and legs.

We’re scared, his breathing isn’t very good right now either and they needed to put him on a ventilator or whatever they’re called. I had to use one of those and they’re not very comfortable.

I haven’t been writing lately. There hasn’t been a lot to write about. Given I do like having a routine, things have just been a bit too repetitive for my liking. 

We did head to one of our alliances groups to renew our truce with the month ending. 

It got a bit warmer out too and that sounds nice but it didn’t last and now everything covered in ice. Despite being built prepared as I am, its still annoying to be outside with everything so slippery. On the bright side, the river is thick enough to walk over finally. Silk, Spits and I plan on heading up to the station over it since its easier, a bit longer, but easier.
