it's almost as if lestat's every move is one of beauty, as if by the movement of every molecule, he's placed in some trance...and he hardly wishes for freedom. hunting was something he'd become better at than in the beginning, not so consumed between life and death than understanding survival was as important as the two. that he could feed with another's permission to do so and they would offer themselves willingly.

granted, perhaps that came with the change of the centuries and the more popularised media regarding vampires. the romance of them, that left immortal monsters desired.

it was all rather foolish.

" I don't know if it's because I've just fed or the moonlight but you look beautiful... " he smiled with ease at that, reaching out to grab one of lestat's hands and place a kiss on his palm.

there's a familiar and almost comforting cadence about these situations, except Louis isn't certain that he's ever been the person for other's to be vulnerable with: that he is admittedly concerned about his validity in being able to handle someone else's wellbeing but progress was progress and he'd come so far since Daniel had published the book.

" honesty wasn't always the easiest for me, " he chuckles, more so out of hindsight and being able to look back on his time now with more ease than the past version of himself could. he then considers his own challenges, looking away into the void of everything he'd done. the Claudia of all of it would always stand out taller than anything else. " my fear, I suppose, has come true -- my daughter dead and gone but there's always another... " he does consider not offering his weakness out so easily but one offered, should have one returned.

imagining louis conforming to society but also saying fuck you to the shitty people, all while art dealing and running his club. he wears eyeliner and his style is so formal but grungy goth and I adore him for it. hair a little longer, not the short mess it was S1. so many thoughts.
