unfortunate - this was probably the lightest word one could describe the situation he was in.

sure, it wasn't the first unfortunate situation he found himself in. and certainly neither the first time he was unprepared. but despite his history of making it somehow still out of these the uneasiness that crept up to him made it more and more difficult to stay calm.

eventually a quiet curse slipped over Hugo's lips, for nobody to hear - hopefully, the only audience being with a high chance ethereals. the uneasiness started to slowly grow into a horrible realization.

he was trapped.

lost in a hollow. stuck with what was probably the most expensive yet most useless carrot he had ever gotten his hands on.

maybe the stories about people vanishing were not so much the fault of some urban-legend-alike as people claimed online but just people ending up with faulty carrots. like he did now. embarrassing if one considered his good connection with Phaeton.

Pheaton...

Hugo wasn't even certain if he hoped for Vivian to try find him or if he preferred her safe and far away from this maze. and who could even guarantee that the manager would be able to navigate her through here safely. something was off...

either way, he didn't have time for distracting thoughts like this. he needed to get out of here - quickly.
