Do y’all think siblings in medieval times would look at the little beasts in illuminated manuscripts and point at each other like ‘ha! ‘Tis thou!’

Anna Torv as Olivia Dunham on Fringe → 4.14 The End Of All Things
“Peter, I don't understand what's happening to me any more than you do. But that doesn't change what I do know, what you know -- that if you look at me -- if you look into my eyes, then you can see that I am her."

So I just saw a post by a random personal blog that said “don’t follow me if we never even had a conversation before” and?????? Not to be rude but literally what the fuck??????????
I’ve had people (non-pornbots) try to strike conversation out of nowhere in my DMs recently, and now I’m wondering if they were doing that because they wanted to follow me and thought they needed to interact first. I feel compelled to say, just in case, that it’s totally okay to follow this blog (or my side blog, for that matter) even if we’ve never talked before.
Also, I’m legit confused. Is this how follow culture works right now? It was worded like it’s common sense but is that really a thing?

The first thing that this video made me think of was Alanna training after hours to keep up with the other pages
alt: woman with ginger hair wages battle in a field against a training dummy of a man’s upper half, wrapping tape around the dummy’s face and coming at him in several different shots, including a shot where she aggressively squats over his face and farts on it, then throws a large wooden object the size and shape of a door at his head
#you all may not understand but this is so true to me#tamora pierce#tortall#alanna: the first adventure#alanna the lioness#song of the lioness

cats being capable of understanding accidents and even giving you a little head bonk to let you know you're still cool makes it infinitely funnier that they don't understand when you're trying to help them
cats when you step on their tail: i'll admit that was rather ouchie, but given the lifetime of goodwill and trust between us, one must conclude this booboo is but a fluke.
cats when you try to get their claws unstuck from the couch covering: this nefarious bitch has never had a single honorable intention in their dishonest and shameful life, this must be one of their sinister plots or perhaps even an attempt on my life,
