i love having vargas friends man . i mean of course not irl right ( even though im pretty sure there's a fan in my state ) but i have my bestest bestest friend and then some other people to rant about stuff and overall it just feels so good that i managed to meet people from a fandom so small and befriend them too . met some of them because forced myself to post shit on twt , and then made a whole account for it here . I LOVE THIS FANDOM i love making content for other people to see i love being known as that one guy obsessed with vargas ( maybe

Do you ever think about the effect you've had on the landscape of the internet? On a niche group of weird internet teens as they were growing up?

Kind of...? Mostly I tend to think about how I've gotten so many people into one obscure thing or another, haha. I got a lot of people into Star Control 2! What a legacy! :D I got a lot of people invested in Edgar Vargas! Juan Corrida! hehehehe

But when I think about influencing other things, like writing or art or humor, or like... I don't know, general behavior or attitudes or something? That seems a lot more abstract to me. I'm just some random person doing my thing! The idea of having any kind of real effect on the internet is so strange... much less on any group of people. It's very surreal to me, it doesn't seem like an actual thing that could happen.
