Back from the dead, and with bootleg Sonic figures again but this TIME THIS TIME MY FRIENDS IT HAS A SPECIAL BONUS. I saw these and picked them up firstly because I saw they had Rouge (my wife) and I had to snag them... it wasn't till I got home to take photos that I noticed the side...

THATS RIGHT FUCKING SONIC SONADOW ON THE SIDE OF THE BOX. one has to wonder what the hell the bootleggers were thinking when they made this decsion. As for the image itself:

I haven't yet IDed the other photo edits featured on the back of the box, but if anyone out there happens to know, dont hesitate to share!

(BIG EDIT): Does ANYONE know who did the SONADOW edit of the Sonic 3 image..? I wasn't able to find out who did it at all..

If anyone's packages coming from Japan are stuck in limbo and you live in the US, Japan is no longer shipping to the USA using their postal service (SAL, EMS, Air).

Mandarake received one of my returned packages and is reshipping it DHL and they are paying for any extra shipping costs. They will also refund and cancel your order if asked.

DHL will probably be flooded with orders soon, if they are not already, so this shipping option may not be available for long.

Above all, I wish for everyone to stay safe and healthy. There are so many questions and unknowns going on right now that something incredibly minor such as a package being returned to sender...it can feel extremely heavy and difficult. I hope that some anxiety is relieved by knowing what to expect and that this helps a little.

The thing abouth all these Disney remakes is that most of them, it feels like if someone once said, “I’m going to make a live action remake of Edvard Munch’s “The Scream” and then he just took a photo of some random bald guy screaming on a bridge. I mean all the elements are there but he changes all the expressionist elements in favor of “realism” loosing most of the things that made the scream one of the most important, if not the most important pieces of the Norwegian expressionism, maybe just keeping the general comossition and maybe making some little changes, just enough to make it feel kind of different, but not enough to be relevant. Change the long sleeves for shorter ones, or maybe even add a new character in the back who will be there, but, at the end of the won’t be really important. But loosing the colors, the shapes, the brush strokes, the style.

IT’s just a bland looking photo of a guy screaming, that is only really relevant mostly because of the audience being already familiar with the original artwork.

Tails! This one is another UFO prize given out to promote Sonic Adventure. I have Big the Cat (who is missing right now), and Tails is a lot taller than him I think, but that might be because Big was a little more squat than the others..

Not in good shape, and not in bad shape either. Someone loved him well. I had no idea that he had a hole above his tails till I was taking pictures! I’m going to figure out how to stitch it back in like nothing happened. He smelt like he smoked a pack of cigarettes when he got here, so he’s been airing out for a week or two.

He’s such a cutie! a lot of work really went into making him look accurate. He’s also pretty heavy too.

I noticed that mine has a different tush tag than others that I’ve seen. I wonder why… maybe a variant? An earlier or later version?

My mother recently refound a disc called Bratz Forever Diamonds: Fashion Essentials that was given out during the Walmart fashion contest in 2006. On it was this I couldn’t find this version anywhere,not sure if this was in the movie as its been years since I’ve seen it. I took multiple copies of the disc, and theres WAY MORE stuff on it too like commercials that I haven’t seen and behind the scenes stuff with MGA’s designers! Will probably get to that on youtube..
