i know the initial confession happened off-screen bc by the time venam gets turned into stone i'm pretty sure they're already together by then, but i like to think that it was like. the most unceremonious blurt-out confession from venam that got them together. she already has shown that she'll let things slip when it comes to her affection so i feel like it would've happened on another occasion and melia actually caught on to it that time. and she has no real good way (or desire) to backpedal. so when melia turns to her like "did i hear that right" venam's just like 🧍‍♀️ yeah i guess
