Will being shown as an unreliable narrator when it comes to mikes ‘unrequited’ love and milevens relationship basically gives us the idea that if vecna does use wills love for mike against him (which is honestly a given) vecna wouldn’t be banking on mike actually loving will back.

Will:

- gay (suppressed emotions for most of his childhood due to the bullying)

- a guy's girl (loves painting nails with el and gossiping with max)

this is so SO telling to me. it’s the conservative general audience in a nutshell. stranger things IS made for the actual outcasts, not people like Dash. The show is for the people on the actual margins of society, this show wasn’t made for the majority. it just wasn’t.
