No, Asgore does not fight with a trident. He probably only uses it for farming which I just think it's pretty funny, yet viable. Also, it won't hurt Chara if they ever want to borrow it.

Yup, every human has HOPE, though depends on how low or high each has! Evidently, Chara and Frisk are the two examples with a high HOPE, despite being born with two different soul traits. Thusly, they are capable of ushering freedom to monsterkind.

Monsters on the other hand, their souls are forged from sheer will and goodwill; DETERMINATION. They are beings especially capable of exercising good jugdements, and unfortunately, the devastating past has been the determinant for a bitter commitment.

If Ragel is in the role of Flowey, do flowers and fungi swap in underswap?

To some extent, yeah. A bed of blue glowing mushrooms will protect Chara from the impact, they also illuminate the SEVEN SEAS to produce a lustrous atmosphere that growingly paints the scenery.

I'm guessing too much Light or Darkness would still cause The Roaring in this case?

The roaring might still be a deltarune thing in this swap universe. In this case however, it's moreso that chaos is triggered by not actually bringing something out, but it depends on their action. For example, the grave event which leads to dark and light mages exiling monsterkind. Light, dark, monsters, each plays a specific part in harmony-keeping according to the WARPEDSUN symbiology. Who knows how the outcome would play out now that the balance has been shifted immeasurably. A huge war can happen anytime and that's where they'll all face the suffering for all eternity.

If you don't mind me asking, what is "Photoshop Ragel" like here? Are they just "big spooky photoshop behemoth" or is it something different?

"Photoshop" Ragel is much more messed up than Photoshop Flowey. They will take over the WHOLE Seven Seas island and transform it into a living colossal beast. I call this equivalent: The Seven Misery

Asgore does not fight you with his trident! The trident becomes one of MK's weapons as it swaps with Chaos Saber. Additionally, spear swaps with blaster, technically Chaos Blaster. Asgore will only use water and crystal magic.

If you are talking about about Wingding Gaster (who swaps with Gerson), then here's some info about him:

Gerson and Gaster swap because they formerly worked for the royal family in UT: Gaster was the royal scientist and Gerson was the royal guard. They both eventually passed their royal duties onto Alphys and Undyne. This rule still applies in underswap, but well, in a swap-y way.

Gaster in this universe is a former inventor and industrialist. He is the reason for the subterranean expansion. The reason monsters got more places to live. And the reason monsters still had hope.

Gaster is still alive in this universe. He resides in a small warehouse in New Hope's basement. That is where Asriel also lives.

He may look like a creepy guy with ulterior motives. But in reality, he's really just an old monster with eccentric behavior and happens to have insanely high intelligence, which he uses it to contribute to monsterkind's need most of the time. Otherwise, the CORE (from UNDERTALE) wouldn't have been made. Don't worry, he's genuinely a good person and a cool uncle-figure to Asriel. He'll sell you his goods and allow you to talk to him, too.

Gaster taught Asriel a lot of things when he was still a kid. Thanks to Gaster, Asriel grew up to be an alpha geek. I suppose this can be said the same to Alphys before she participated in a battlefield.

He might tell you about his strangely accurate prediction if you ask him about what he sees one day from now. That's how strange he is. A very strange man for sure. If you do the genocide route, he'd say something bizzare like "EXISTENCE... EVERYTHING IN IT... WILL DISAPPEAR COMPLETELY... WE WILL ALL... FALL INTO ABSOLUTE DARKNESS... WHERE THERE WILL BE NO MORE SCREAMS... SUCH DESPAIR... WILL NOT BE FELT ANYMORE... FOREVER..."

What's the whole deal with Frisk being a mage

And blind, for that matter

Mages still exist in underswap, even until present day. Frisk happened to be a born mage, a dark mage to be specific. It's not actually bad thing despite having a "dark" character in it. It just means it helps with balance between dark and light. Without dark, there'll be too much light and that is definitely not a good thing. The same can be said if there's too much dark. One day, Frisk noticed that they had magical ability. However... they didn't know how to use them properly, so an accident occurred that led to them losing their eyes and their ability to see. The damage was irreversible, not even a healing magic could recover their eyes. Note that there are certain spells that are permanent and you should seriously consider everything before you use them. Much later after that accident, they fell into the subterranean and met Master Gerson Boom. He brought them back to New Hope palace to see the former emperor, Asgore, and the empress, Toriel. They decided to take care of the Frisk and raised them as their own child. Note that this is before Asriel existed. More than often, Frisk toured through the subterranean with Master Gerson and his student, a child-figure even, Rex (Monster Kid). They even got taught by Master Gerson to do magic stuff and what their purpose is as a dark mage. As they entered adolescence, they became Master Frisk, the only human guardian in the subterranean and the angel of hope. They were believed to be the one who would restore the WARPEDSUN balance. Sadly, a dark mage wasn't not enough, they needed a light mage too. That's why Chara existed. On the other hand, they might never be able to see things again, but they can feel exactly what's happening and will take action for that matter.

The full answer to WARPEDSUN list of swap choices, anon, is right over here! Although to directly answer the question, Ralsei is replaced with Kris and vice versa. Furthermore, MK (in WARPEDSUN) swaps with their sister, Edna, a wyvern dragor with a trait of justice.

Can I ( or anyone else ) create other swap AUs in this universe ( As EVERYTHING is said to swap here ) say someone wanted to create a "Miles Prower" game, Or a Luigi game? would they be considered canon?

You can create any swap version of any game you want, although underswap never intends to go that far other than putting rare references, such as the existence of arcade and/or gaming zone in Neon Mall to replace Librarby, which is a perfect place to put them there =P Any swap version of the game other than underswap is considered non-official.

In this world, did Toby create the music or did Temmie? ( As Temmie was an artist ) Did he create EC and DEP?

Toby still composed the soundtrack. However, he did the art less. Temmie drew the most of it, making the game slightly more detailed from both artistic and story aspects or generally has more Temmie touch in it. As a result of Temmie taking over the development (almost completely) here (since she'd get busy for college at some point), some unused monsters, area concept arts, and other stuff she designed get to be in the game instead of getting scrapped. There's still that Toby feel sprinkled all over the place as he's majorly involved too, so don't worry about it =P And since this interpretation originated from the idea of "Temmie made underswap", then Toby surely made a swapped EC and DEP, which I wrote a title for these two games for fun: "Rupture in Reality" and "Beware of the Witch".

Well I present to you... Alphys NEO and THE UNDYING NAPSTATRON!

You heard that right! It’s Alphys NEO; the Undyne the Undying replacement for [this] underswap [take]. I thought a NEO body would suit Alphys for this case, considering she invented it in Undertale and surely, it is a dream fully realized in this universe. Her head is heavily inspired by her (early) artbook design.

As for TUN; the idea behind this design is that Napstatron tried to pass off a jester character into some sort of creative art project but got cold at what people think and abandoned the project. This project is called "The Undying Master of Entertainment".
