Do I have to name just one specific example? Bc I've seen a lot but sadly have saved none of them. Oh well, for lack of a better answer: many of the takes I see about the NBC show are absolutely rancid, especially concerning Hannibal Lecter as a fictional character, because like…have you guys ever read the source material?? Or watched the original films?

And now that the show has dramatically overshadowed the books and Anthony Hopkins films, it's all you ever see, it influences everyone's opinion about what OG Hannibal is like as a character and the bad takes you see get old pretty fast.

The ongoing gag about how Hannibal would eat some rando just because they were rude to him (like if they shoved him in the store checkout line or were homophobic to him while drawing his blood), which is again largely influenced by how the NBC show depicted him.

Like yes, he's extremely petty and has demonstrated as much on multiple occasions, but he's not that petty. He's much more careful and calculating than they give him credit for, taking the time to vet the perfect person for whom absolutely nobody would mourn the death or disappearance of and wouldn't be able to tie directly to Hannibal or his other victims. Usually one of his difficult patients, or someone who's seriously gone out of their way to ruin others' lives or harm people he cares about. He doesn't go shopping for victims, he waits for fate to bring them to him.

Then again, it can be difficult for me to tell if they're actually seriously interpreting him this way or are just being facetious because of fandom brainrot.

Also wish that there was more of an audience for Barney Matthews/Hannibal Lecter content bc it's my favourite rarepair/non-canon ship.

It's honestly such a shame that we've made such a huge thing out of swimming and swimsuits and looking good in swimsuits and fat people not looking good in swimsuits. Swimming is actually the perfect exercise for fat people because it puts zero pressure on the joints, which is a much bigger concern for us than it is for skinny people, and lets you exercise basically every muscle group without straining too much and risking injury. Yet somehow this is one of the least accessible exercises to fat people due to nothing more than a culture of body shaming. The work to unlearn all the shame to be comfortable in a bathing suit in front of strangers is huge even for conventionally attractive people, but I could probably count on one hand the number of fat people I've met who were confident enough to get in a bathing suit and go swimming in public.

And what is the exercise that somehow everyone thinks they should do instead? Jogging. It's more accessible, sure, it's easy and costs nothing to go outside and run. But I need you to understand telling a fat person to go running is basically telling them to go destroy their knees. Not to mention it's probably one of the most physically uncomfortable exercises to do when you have a body that jiggles even with compression garments.

Imagine a world where everyone had the ability and equal access to whatever exercise fit them best and helped them be happy and healthiest. Imagine a world where fat people go swimming.

When writing Ganondorf, its important to remember to have him laugh often. He needs to giggle evily. Cackle like his witch mothers. Dude has a rotten but lively sense of humor. Its amazing hes able to keep his composure. Hes totally the type of person to bust into giggles because he had a funny thought while nothing is outwardly happening.
