I think that the Fishing Minigame in various videogames should have a way to lose so bad you die. Stardew Valley > Congrats you got a thing like a chest and turns out it was a mimic and you have to fight it or you fall in or something like sink into the depths. FFXIV > You raise a fishie eidolon that wants to claim as many souls as you have fishing from the surface dwellers and like now that’s your fault. Something like that.
