AU CLAW CIRCUS

(warning: use of translator because I wrote this in the early morning and I was too lazy to think hehe)

ANYWAYS.

After Grace's untimely death, a teenage Petey decides to leave and begin his path of villainy, however, Big Jim decides to accompany him so as not to let him fall down that path. Although without much success. They decided to leave the city as stowaways on a train that passed through Okhay City every month. But since it was a dark escape, they didn't notice the label on the box. It was a shipment from a famous circus.

This continues until days later, when the train finally stops and they come face to face with the circus owner. They were both scared they were going to get beaten up, but Petey didn't want that to be seen And he confronted the owner saying that if he was going to punish him, he should do it with him, not with BJ.

The owner was a strange man. The whole circus had a strange, chilling vibe that struck a chord with the cats' instincts, and to their surprise, instead of being punished as they thought, They offer them work With them. At first, Petey didn't want to go over his dead body, but BJ begged him to since they had nowhere else to go, or at least until they could find something else.

Things happen, time passes and the owner ends up getting fond of Petey's unsociable cat and decided to make him his apprentice. That's when Petey learns about a force he thought he could only see in cheap horror movies.

Between the lines of occultism, magic and time, both cats had found their own place in the circus. BJ loves convenience and caring for animals, Petey without being stopped from building and experimenting at will without really harming anyone but being the crazy cat of the circus machines. The owner satisfied and tells Petey it's time for him to follow his own path. Although it gave him a pain in his chest, Petey took everything as what it was, an experience and both cats were grateful for everything they were given and a week later they decided to return to their hometown with names in mind and a vision.

A year later, the Claw Circus was born. The freak show and strange magic show that gave its first performance with only cats and an orange cat as the master of ceremonies, who handled it with elegance and mysticism in its paws.

The circus always opens its doors to new lives, drawn by its magic and power. Petey leads the way, and BJ is his right-hand man. After their experience, they never heard from the owner again.

If his first and greatest human acquisition was "the great and powerful seer Yolai." Yolai arrived with the sound of her bracelets and flowing garments behind her, knocking on Petey's door one night Of a new moon, telling him that from now on he would work with him and not to worry because he already had his own trailer. Petey, still dreaming, could only see this lady with extravagant colors and great hair Who kept secrets as big as her curls. Petey just ran his paw over his face to finish waking up while the light between them lit up between the stripes on his body, without saying anything he let her enter his circus.

Yolai is in charge of a carapa about tarot and other things that surprised foreigners and paid to consult her. But she was also in charge of helping with the power of the circus that Petey manages, Warning him about the new members that were coming to stay and so Petey just gave his material to the new ones leaving them bewildered and with amazed eyes.

Unlike Petey, Greg struggles to suppress his animalistic behavior. Knight has made greg feel ashamed, even going as far as to hurting greg for behaving like a dog and not more like a "sidekick". Knight wasn't always so cruel, they actually used to be happy, Greg still doesn't understand what went wrong. Ofc Greg still hates Knight but cant help but think his owner is right when he said he will always be a bad dog. Deep down he wonders if his newer improved inventions (thanks to his new body) would've made knight proud and stop all the yelling.
